Who is the elder lady? Is it May Warden, famous for her play at the 90th anniversary with Freddy Frinton? I think this is the 1981 tv version of Ibsen's play.

Rigg moved seamlessly through the phases of her career from sexy vixen to old women, really good as Mrs. Danvers in 'Rebecca'.
