We went to watch the show of Hedda Gabler last night with Sheridan Smith as Hedda. 5 star performance. :) I'm so happy this is a part of my Drama A-level.

Diana Rigg is perfect as Hedda. This is such an enjoyable production. DianaRigg07, do you know if Diana Rigg ever took Hedda Gabler to the West End Stage ? Thank you.

She said she hadn't once during her run hosting Mystery! for US television. During the final season of Rumpole of the Bailey, in one episode the Bexley Heath Thespians have their annual theatre evening in the West End , after which they meet Mr Justice Featherstone and invite him to join them at Blokes for a bit of a bop. At the end of the episode, Dame Diana said it was sweet of John Mortimer to put that in, though she'd never played Hedda on the London stage.
