She's only 59. At what age are you assuming that people starts losing their sharpness ? Were you surprised that she's not using a cane to walk ?
@mikeokeeffe46928 ай бұрын
@@Javier.M. I wasn't referring to her age in any way shape or form. I was remarking on her personality and it is something I've always found in her acting roles; in which I enjoy her and always have. If you must know... Not everyone is an ageist and you may have received that impression but if that was the way you read it maybe you should think about not jumping down people's throats so quickly and judgementally, and just try and see the good in people. Dick.
@mikeokeeffe46928 ай бұрын
@@Javier.M. I wasnt referring to her age in any way shape or form here, whatsoever. I was talking about her personality and a quality she exudes. Its something I've always liked about her in her roles since I was younger, she comes across like that. That's what I was saying. If you read my comment in that way then fine, that's on you, and actually says something about your mindset rather than mine - but next time; remember not everybody is an ageist. How you read my comment that way I don't understand; but I don't need to. That's your M.O. Maybe don't jump down peoples' throat in the comment section in such a hurry when I was being actually very sincere and complimentary to someone I admire. Just some advice. Dick.

DIANE LANE... what a truly wonderful actor! She has the full package... charisma, star power, talent, beauty, intelligence, and class. She is underrated I feel. She is fabulous as Slim Keith and should be Emmy and Golden Globe nominated. I hope she gets more work off the back of this great performance in 'FEUD'! :)

Traveling the world IS the best education in the world, IMHO. Why do you think the richest and most privileged families of the Renaissance and the Age of Reason actually sent all of their capable children abroad when they were nearly of age etc. Why of course! To learn incredible knowledge userful to their future responsibilities and positions, perhaps? 😀 This is a tradition that continues to a far lesser extent today, but is more multi-directional.

A 7 year old Diane Lane walking alone trough Amsterdam. So must be the early 70s (google tells me she’s from 65). That must have been quite something. Beatnicks, prostitutes, communist worker rally’s, yellow trams, student protest movements a city that hasn’t recovered yet from WW2. Must have been quite the experience
