I'm 48 and only started running just over 2 years ago, so I remember what it was like as a new runner. I've made, and learned from, my share of mistakes over the past 27 months.
In the running forums I'm in, I often see questions from people who want to start running, so I've compiled my advice for new runners; as I started running in middle age my advice is particularly relevant to those in the same age bracket.
Research, experimentation and analysis are a big part of my day job, and I've approached running with the same consideration.
I've learned so much in the past two years, and if even a small part of this video helps someone on their journey to becoming a runner then I'll be delighted. I've gotten so much joy from getting fitter through running and I hope you find that same joy.
