I haven’t written because I get a bit scared doing so. You’re a very good Mom, and friend. I love your happy attitude. I’m so sorry some people think they need to reprimand you. I like the striped fabric for the lining, the colours match better and the gingham was a bit busy as if it was competing with the floral. The webbing is amazing. Your mum is going to get a lovely bag. The cake looked gorgeous, maybe I'll make a chocolate mug cake for lunch.

I never could get the hang of Mario Kart with my boys 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I would spend hours at a time in their room playing Tetris-sphere while they were at school. The cake is lovely, and it's somehow very entertaining watching someone else sew. ?? And in fast motion 🤩 Thanks for the visit!

When I saw the light striped lining fabric for the bag I instantly saw harmony, not like the gingham which was competing with the beautiful floral fabric. Well chosen and looking forward to seeing the finished product.

The lighter lining for sure! I love the bag fabric for your mom. In my family we draw names for Christmas and I think I will make my daughter a backpack similar to the one you made. We try to make our gifts or buy something from a charity/thrift store. So now I will be on the search for a vintage fabric. Enjoy your summer with your boys. It goes by in the blink of an eye!

Definitely, I would use your pale stripe fabric, perfect match. I adore the bag fabric for your Mum, it's gorgeous as are all the accessories and I love the navy zip and webbing with it. Here's a suggestion for you - I would have the bottom of that bag manky in no time so I would use navy for the last few inches of the bag and on the bottom of it. It is impossible to avoid having to put your bag on the floor in restaurants, some toilets and especially airports. Hope you don't mind me saying that. Your Fleur is coming along nicely. Tea looked very yummy! As for your house being messy, I totally understand as ours is the same and there's only the two of us! My husband is away for a week and the house is lovely and tidy. I'm thinking of not letting him back in🤣🤣🤣🥰

Lol, it's Fusible interfacing and foam. I just got a Rifle Paper Co. fabric as well. But I decided to try one of their viscose fabrics. It's gorgeous! A bag like you're making for your mom, retail would be close to $100. So your version is a bargain. Your boys are adorable. I miss those days so much. Enjoy having them home!

Your mom picked a beautiful fabric for the bag and you are spot on going with the pale blue stripe. Oh and not to forget the perfect match on the belting. Please show us the finished bag when done. Suggestion, the selvedge is so cute with the name maybe use it on a pocket so it is seen even if inside the bag.

I am loving this series, thank you! The fabric and accessories for your Mother's bag will look fabulous together. I recently was told about gathering using the serger. Christine Sews A Lot has a video about it and I used it for a Mave Skirt by True Bias and it worked great. Saves a load of time. Look forward to the rest of the vlogs this week!!

A few weeks ago my eyes suddey became itchy, stinging and watery and i thought i was starting with hay fever. It went on for three weeks and then i realised I'd changed my face moisturiser, I changed back to my old one and the eyes were instantly cured! Thanks for making your vlogs!!! J xxx

I’m amazed at your youngest cracking eggs. I think it was last year during vlogmas that you showed him cracking eggs and I’m like, he does that better than me 😅. I finished my Sauvie dress, go me!
