How To Make A Reversible Collage Jacket From Two Shirts NO PATTERNS

Wow! Create a very high end reversible jacket on a dime, using upcycled preloved items and materials. No patterns, we will be unifying two pretty pre owned floral shirts, if we sew them wrong sides together...we have a reversible garment. I will take you step by step, with detailed explanation, through everything it takes to create this stunning lagenlook / cottage core jacket. First, we crop and creatively cut the tops to begin making our shape. Then, we decorate them with beautiful patches, bird appliques, dragonfly appliques, florals and so much more. Finally we make a fun patchwork, double sided ruffle for the bottom and flared sleeves. This is such a wonderful concept...and it works. I've wanted to try this for a long time. I've seen similar jackets sell for hundreds and hundreds of dollars...enjoy!

The blouses you used were already pretty, but you kicked them up a notch. I love them. Rickrack is really a versatile trim and very underrated. You can make really cute roses out of the rickrack, you can combine two different color rickrack trims to make a different look, also you can sew it into seams with just the peaks sticking out. Just do a search for rickrack trims ideas, you will be so inspired.
