@@lilicovič maybe op didn't mean that was when he found out, but more like the realization hit that the role was really over for him. i've never seen the vid you're talking about so i have no input about whether the whole thing is a bit or not, but people often have experienced retroactive sadness/regret over a decision they made prior that at the time they were totally okay with. i've experienced it, you probably have too, and if you haven't then you certainly will some day. so i don't think the possibility that he was a bit sad that he would no longer be able to play the role and maybe felt nostalgic too is ridiculous.

If there’s any common misconception about diary of a wimpy kid it’s that Rodrick isn’t a bad brother. He literally helps him out in almost every way to mature and has inappropriate items in his room so he’s protecting his little brother from it. Also yes teachers grudges pass from sibling to sibling I had a French teacher who was completely fine with me until she found out who my brother was, her gaze never left my desk again even though I was damn near fluent in French 😂

@robertyeah22592 ай бұрын
Chloe Grace Moretz being absent from this movie and the third one I think came down to her career taking off more when Kick Ass came out during the same year as the first movie. I can imagine she was too busy doing Kick Ass 2 and Carrie to be involved with the sequels. They might have ended up shelving her character anyways because Angie the 7th grader was never a character in the books. The second and third movie have a different director than the first, so it’s possible he would have just dropped Angie anyways because they wanted to introduce Holly, since she is from the books. But her character genuinely is so different than the book it really could have just been Chloe Grace Moretz again. I don’t think the books ever clarify if Holly knows that Greg exists 😂

The main actors in this movie haven't hit puberty yet. In Dog Days you can tell they hit puberty. Jeff Kinney wanted to make a 4th movie with the same actors, but they hit puberty so quickly they weren't able to make a 4th movie with those actors. Also, when Jeff Kinney wrote the books, he wrote it like a kid writing in a journal. A kid writes about his middle school years with little to no plot, and a bunch of random events happening in the school year (or his/her home life) that barely connects together. The movies were made like the books, but with a bit of a plot to make the movie actually work as a movie.
