I see you walked passed the door of my old place on Castle Road, Peter Rice's home, the engineer who was responsible for the Sydney Opera House, the Pompidou Centre, and Menil Collection, and Lloyd's of London. And not a million miles from there was where Philip Holland taught mathematics at the Colaiste Ris school. He only went on to invent the first submarine used by both the US and English navies.

It is indeed Danielle! I found one in early flower at the garden centre this year, great for some instant colour. Although this morning I found the 4" tip of it lying in the soil....That's what I get for buying hot house flowers instead of native 😬

@@DiaryofaDitchWitch I've only ever seen purple flowers on them here - that one looks a glorious red! I'm sure yours'll be fine, my neighbour weed-whacked mine down to absolutely nothing and it came back even before the season was done. That's my kind of plant! lol.
