Archbishop Cyril Vasil SJ at the Second Eparchial Gathering of the Syro Malabar Eparchy of Great Britain explores the phenomenon of the diaspora in the recent history of the Eastern Catholic Churches, which had been the occasion for the elaboration of various types of approach towards the ecclesial life of the Orientals established outside their traditional territories. The Holy See, represented by the Congregation for the Eastern Churches, has tried to react to the situations created over the decades with various interventions and through different juridical institutes.
