I usually can kill rail gun snipers with sfar mlg in about 75-100 meters. I think rail gun is hard to use and what it makes it that powerful than usual snipers I dont get it. You can snipe like that with other snipers too in my opinion.

@Riorozen You are right about that. I dont play sniper and I get avoid fighting with them. So I dont have many experience with sniping. Maybe because of that I think wrong about rail gun. I hope DICE will balance the game. I really enjoy playing this shit

Yeah, I was able to take out a tank with 20 shots and two Liz rockets! I would say lower the ammo count and maybe get rid of the full burst auto . Maybe even make the charge time a slightly longer.

This gun isn’t any more OP than the choppers flair recharge and the lack of AA missile range. I find this gun to be a good way to annoy and shoot out pilots. It a step towards some balance when you get get good with it.

Naaahhhhh. Not many ppl use it cause its not easy to adapt to its play style. Quite frankly sfar is a faaaaaarr far bigger issue. Head shots, instakills, bursts, full auto , any range 24/7. So in short, klickbait-o-rama.

the 4.5x/1x is the most broken one, you don't show glares, you don't have to hold breath, the ADS time is stupidly fast. 6x is not as good.

Plus making the one shot version of this gun better for fighting vehicles than infantry and make it so the burst and auto feature for this weapon shines more. This gun shows alot of the weakness with the weapons and gadgets in this game. Theres a heli farming do you take out the AA rockets.... no now you go for the railgun because they cant deflect the shots. You want a long ranged sniper with the volocity of the DXR with the handling of the SWS you gp for the railgun. This gun is broken in so many ways, i honestly would have been okay if this gun was never added.

The gun was designed for PC players in mind I'm a sniper specialist on console and twitch snipe all my targets no problem but this rail gun having to charge then align and fire it's not ideal for the conventional sniper.

I love how the hand movements do not translate. If you have uber high dpi wich is what you expect us to believe. Then dragging your mouse across that field of view would make your screen spin. But its not even that it changes in speed big movements from small input, and small movements from large reactions. So either your dpi is stupid high ads and you have hip turned down. Wich is the literally the exact opposite of everyone on pc I've ever played. Or well we all know what plagues fps...

Problem with these type of weapons is : how do you nerf it? Drop damage ? The moment you cancel the 1 shot headshot this gun is useless You can't give it drop because its a railgun. A badly thought out addition, which we have gotten used to.

I usually love sniping in BF games, but 2042 is such a pain, mainly just the slower ADS, BF3/4, 1 and V sniping were all perfect in terms of weapon handling, and aggressive sniping is so scarce in 2042, DICE need to buff sniper ADS speed, make sniping as good as it used to be like BF4 and BF5 sniping was, 2042 has the worst sniping in the entire franchise.. This railgun thing though, I refuse to use it cause of how laughably easy and cheesy it is, I prefer bolt actions.

I feel like they ruin sniping cause even if you shoot at torso they don’t get one shot you basically have to aim head to get one shot kills even with full power rounds it not one shot in the torso

And it shouldn't be in a video game. One shot in the torso makes a sniper a long range shotgun. If you want one shots, go play hard core where everything is one shot. Don't complain about needing headshots just because you have shit aim.

Bruh Battlefield has always been that way, it's had 1 shot headshots only pretty much since the start of the franchise if I'm not mistaken. They do it for balance, 1 shot body shots from any range would be extremely overpowered since the games have projectiles. BF1 has a sweet spot range where you can 1 hit body, which made sniping extremely easy in that game, and 2042 had a 1 hit within 50 or so meters but they recently nerfed it. If you want 1 hit body shots at all ranges go play Cod, or a mil sim.

I thought it would ruin the game also and ruin chopper fun witch it what I like to do. However I think we were both wrong. Sniping is a higher skill and most people can't snipe very well. So people started using it and were not racking up the kills with it and got bored. The part of the patch that fucked things up in my opinion is the damn laser tank. It is a joke. A tank that can pick jets out of the sky. High travel speed and zero drop. It takes no skill to use. I think it is what needs the nerf bad.

Sniper and shotgun not even a one hit kill on CORE SMH. 50 CAL 85 percent kill 100 to 200 yrd and 15 percent hit mark, other sniper is just dumb.
