I had learned of this particular dice setting strategy from a different video. we just came back from a Vegas trip and I can tell you I am a firm believer in this this. I put it to test and I was amazed that not only once but every time I was at the table and I was the shooter, I had incredible success. Setting the dice with all 7’s on the come out roll, I was able to have winning rolls 4 out of every 5 rolls. Once the point was est. I used the hardway set and rolled no less than 20-25 times every time I got the dice. Once, on a full table, once I did 7 out, the entire table passed on the dice so I could roll again. It was so much fun and everyone was making money. The only time I had trouble was at a really long table, I typically like to stand at the end of the table so if I was at a really long table I had trouble getting the dice to hit the back wall. But once I found my rhythm it was great. I really wish I had a table at home to practice on to really get my rolls down. I can also say that when I did seven out it was because either my dice hit chips or one of the dice didn’t make it to the back wall.

Hey Sam - I have been shooting craps since 1975, and I have never once done any "dice setting." I've had good success on many occasions - just quicly picking up the dice and throwing them to bounce off the back wall. I'm sure you are very knowledgeable and have good intentions in your lessons - but I need some proof of this method working !

Thank you - I believe this was posted to review what "techniques" are out there - I can say that setting vs. not setting for 99% of players makes no difference. I think in 30 years of play - I saw one guy throw where I was like "yep, he influences the dice" ... it's kind of like the emperor with no clothes - if you believe it then it's magnificent - and if you are a doubter shouldn't make a difference in your play.

@@JayAr709 At not point do I say I'm Sam Grafstein - since he is dead it would be difficult to see him on KZbin (probably dead before youtube??) ... what I am is a life long craps player and ardent Sam Grafstein fan. Don't fight someone on the same team.

At 3:50 in the clip you say there is "No way" to make a 7?? All sets give you 2 ways ( or 4 ways) to make a 7. With the set you are using at 3:50 you can make a 7 with the 5 & 2 and the 2 & 5. You have the 1& 4 as your inside axis numbers.
@samgrafstein6157Ай бұрын
I think I meant if the dice stay on axis...but I will review - there are always ways to make a seven ;-)
@samgrafstein6157Ай бұрын
I do show that if one die pitches and opens - then the set does not have a seven on the combination ...
@garrison7888Ай бұрын
@@samgrafstein6157 When the dice stay on axis you still have two ways for the seven. The seven will always be there. From the show on Y.T. The Truth about dice setting. Good luck at the tables!

I bet if you charted your rolls the distribution would be a bell curve with 7 @ high pt
