When they're baked in the oven, it basically makes it so the bottom weights a bit more than the rest of the die so when you roll the dice, the heavier sides have an increased chance at rolling as a 7.

you play them when they're cooled down. When they're hot the die are more liquid-y, and due to gravity, the mass will shift down. When they cool off, they are essentially lopsided in favor of the numbers you want : )

Just a little fact. A surprising amount of people do not know that the top and bottom of a dice will equal 7. In other words, if you have a dice in your hand and the number 2 is up, then the number 5 is on the bottom, or if the number 3 is on top, then the number on the bottom is 4. Just thought I would share. It surprised me at how a lot of people I know did not know that.

It only works with plastic dice. The plastic inside melts and pools in the bottom of the dice, making the bottom side (opposite the side you want to land on top) is heavier. Because of gravity, the dice lands on the heaviest side, and you get the desired number...

1) The heat of the oven destabilizes the molecules of the dice, softening them. Gravity does the rest as it slowly pulls down on the loosened molecules, distributing the weight to the bottom of the dice.
