Hi, yes not really seen many, the 070 seems a bit more common Stihl have made some really powerful saws over the time. I think a lot as you say were used on Farms . I have used it a long time ago on a large Oak butt and did find it very hard to get a straight cut, the 36” bar seemed to wander a bit. I think these days I would be a bit more nervous using any chain saw without a chain brake. Thanks for your comment.

That is a monster and somewhat rare in this country! I had the pleasure of running an 045 AV while still on the farm and that was heavy. I'd hate to have to use an 090 for any length of time. It'd be fun just for the experience, have you put it into the wood yet?

Good evening. Yes, probably best to call it Sir, given the chance it would make mince meet of me! Little piston in Big cylinder. Yes we need a bit of silliness , yes it does make you think though. Thanks for your comment.

Hi Robin. Yes, built when things were made to last. I have used it a long time ago, it doesn't rev like the modern saws, it is governed but loads of torque. Yes if i see any more will do a video. Thanks for your comment.

@lawnmowerjones31605 ай бұрын
Hi Robin. yes i have worked on a few of those 010AVs in the passed. Sadly quite a lot of the parts are now no longer available through Stihl, but quite likely some one will have on the shelf, old stock. According to the Parts diagram it should be a 3/8 and 7 tooth ( 1120-640-2005 ) I would probably say Ebay, but i am pretty sure Oregon used to do one, If yours is the 3/8 and 7 toothed ? you can probably use that Stihl Part number to cross reference . Good Luck.@@robincoleman6098
