We captured this video and some photos while traveling near Galveston, Texas about three weeks after the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. The large stacks of trash are in a retail parking lot off I-45, and the smell is absolutely unbearable. We stopped to talk with a woman and her nephew who were sorting through items in their front yard, and the smell of mold was hard to stomach. Even though the water is gone, there is still a great need for help in the Houston area. Even though Irma has now come and gone, and there are more hurricanes out there, please do not forget the people of Houston. Please give generously to charities that are providing temporary housing and food for the people. Thank you.
