Since it was part of the Marvel Midnight Suns trailer, a bunch of the gamer channels played it to review the new game. One of the gamers blocked the audio from that final riff because he thought it was actually Metallica and he was worried about getting a copyright strike. When you are three young ladies and someone mistakes you for Metallica, you must be doing something right.

Great reaction guys!!Yes Ale got tall,compared to Dany the oldest sister,and Pau the middle one.Pau is around 5 ft...Dany 5 ft 4,and Ale the youngest and tallest at around 5 7 give or take an inch or two lol(their Dad is 6 ft 4)..!!Funfact Alessia wasnt even there,in Monterrey ,when this was recorded so it was nice computer tricks making it look like she was.Have been following TW for around a year and half or so,never seen a band like TW even though Ive been following Rock for decades.They rock.Hope to see more reactions to DPA...There's a lot to react to.Thanks for the reaction and thanks for the request Elena!!

Loved the last rift. If you want to look at it again... It is inverted to the original. With the Slow start and the hard finish. Rather than the hard riff early and a slow finish. If you took some time you could very likely blend the two songs with one becoming a second half of the other in either order. Start this at about 4:55 of the original for example.

I have always been a bit leery of "viral" artists in the social media age. Because while it has given the opportunity for artists to reach their audience directly, without going through the "gates" of an industry system, it has also had the effect of "watering down" the quality of artistic content across the entire spectrum. Yes, we all know that The Industry is full of "know nothing bean counters" who "stifle artists' creativity" for the sake of "pre-packaged, artistically vapid product"; they also have SOME sort of criteria for what gets through the gate and what does not. You can object to what that criteria is, but artists were vetted to an extent; everyone, good or bad, was NOT treated the same. Because there ARE bad artists, just like there are good artists; a Rebecca Black does NOT belong in the same tier as a Lady Gaga or a Taylor Swift. No, they SHOULDN'T be sharing the same stage, and that's what social media does. When they are all on the same stage, the effect is that the bar for artistic merit is brought down to the lowest common denominator, and that results is lower quality throughout. There are a LOT of artists out there who would have NEVER cut it going the traditional route--nor should they have cut it. Because while there are some very rare instances that a truly deserving artists wasn't given the opportunity by the industry--and those rare examples are the examples that people like to use to discredit the industry of "not knowing what they are doing"--the OVERWHELMING majority of those who couldn't get through the door were left out for a very good reason, they simply weren't good enough. Social media has removed the safety measures in place to keep the mundane from being lauded as adequate or even exceptional. The TLDR of that entire rant: Social media viral artists are detrimental to a medium by devaluing the standards by which that medium evaluated. That being said: I think this has real artistic merit. I've never been a fan of The Warning--I think they are talented musicians, but their music has never appealed to me personally. And the novelty of "look at these little girls who can play Metallica" may be a great formula for going viral on social media, it means nothing to me when it comes to artistic merit. Crazy, right? But this is an actual creative, original arrangement, performed well; this has real artistic merit.

I understand what you are saying and agree for the most part, but these girls are something of a special case. They produced their own albums and videos themselves with Patreon support. But not because they couldn't make it with the labels. In fact, their second album was nominated for an independent music award without industry support. They turned down several offers from big-time labels to keep their artistic independence. They refused to be a "pre-packaged project" trading on their looks. It took seven months of negotiation for them to reach an agreement with Lava/Republic Records and in the end, they retained artistic control and their Patreon. Jason Flom, CEO of Lava said he was stunned that the girls insisted on going over every sentence of every paragraph of the agreement with the lawyers. They know the labels are interested in making money and care little for the art of music, but they also know what they want to do and they will fight for it.

@@professorg9424 My point is they are legitimate, not social media constructs; 99% of the social media viral "phenomena'" aren't legitimate, they are built on the hype that social media creates, not any legitimate criteria of artistic merit. There is a lot of mundane, unoriginal, uninspired art, in music, in film, in a lot of mediums, that is being pushed to the forefront with social media to the detriment of real artistic endeavors. Art is supposed to be aspirational; when the mundane is counted as influential or relevant as the truly inspired, then what's the point of being inspired when you can be mundane? Nothing is advanced through the mundane. Likes and subscriptions don't legitimize artistic ambitions anymore than album sales and radio play did in the past, but at least then there was SOME kind of system to vet the unique from the derivative. I'll say it again, I couldn't care less about how "neat" it is to see teenage girls playing a Metallica cover, any more than I am in awe of the kid playing a Van Halen riff at a Steel Panther show, or the little Japanese girl drummer matching Bonham beat for beat playing Led Zeppelin classics. That's great technical ability, and admirable, but it's not great art.

@@FuglyStick Yeah, that's the gift/curse of the internet. Anyone can put their creations up. Doesn't mean it's art or that it's even good. What does intrigue me though is that it has opened the door for artists who might be overlooked or considered not to be commercial enough. And to be perfectly honest, it's the classic rock sound that The Warning's original music has that interests me. I was a teen in the 1970s and there is something familiar yet unique to their sound.
