Here is the result of 10 years BJP's rule. This is how Democracy Dies. It doesn't happen overnight. It took Erdogan 20 years to change the secular nature of Turkey. Modi has already had 10 years. And the secular and democratic fabric of this country is more broken than I can remember, in the last 40 years. If you vote for the BJP after what they have done, you deserve to suffer. Politics BJP has set up a template which will effectively kill India's democracy and pluralism. Complete destruction of independent media - mainstream media is a mouthpiece of the BJP, any independent voices are either harassed via IT raids/ relentless hate campaigns via IT cell/false cases : modi's puppet buys up the channel for his and his master's collective profit. Destroying already fragile communal harmony through consistent polarization and hate campaigns via the internet, media and support to political goons. Need I say more about the skyrocketing in the bigoted sentiments in our society today? Lynchings, second class treatment to first muslims, then sikhs during the farmers' protest. The govt botched their handling of Covid and very conveniently blamed it on the states claiming no one died in the second wave. They were interested in claiming that they had won instead of handling the crisis. The Ram Mandir issue has been used as a shopper stop coupon to stiffle down any and every criticism of the govt and in the same vain every critic is now demonised as an anti- national, anti- hindu, communist, etc. Destorying govt institutions and political opponents via them - C.B.I and E.D have now been reduced to very persuasive recruitment arms of the govt which facil:* oppostion party politicians to come into the BJP fo N.S.A and U.A.P.A are used as silencers on any and every dissent they see as problematic. Election Election Commission is just a rubber stamp too. A wink and a nod to N.C.B too. R.B.I's tug of war with the Govt has been in public since Jaitley was the F.M back in 2017. • The economy started going through issues right after demonetisation and even prior to Covid was not great either. All the govt has done is to provide revdis to win elections and then being true to their fascistic nature, gone and accused others of doing the same. Various botched projects/policies such as demonetisation, GST, farmers' issues, manipur ethnic war issues, delhi/ haryana/uttar pradesh/gujarat/ madhya pradesh communal disharmony, violence & riots, aadhar card data leaks, wrestlers' issues, covid lockdown, oxygen cylinder & vaccine policy & so on.
Demonetisation was a fiasco. It was a ludicrous policy by govt. GST was initially bungled by govt to a huge extent. But now, its successful to a good extent. Disdain for human rights. Fundamentalism/bigotry & peddling of pseudoscience. Drastic increase of extremist violence & public nuisance of organisations such as RSS, VHP & Bajrang Dal. Controlled mass media Bjp/nda supporters & followers while defending godi media should understand that media was one of the paramount reasons for the defeat of congress/upa government.
During the rule of congress/upa govts, media was far more independent & powerful. A lot of medias were against govt. They often criticised & trolled govt.
They informed the general public about govt's various issues & faults from time to time. Some of the national medias were usually on their toes to chase & find out the govt's misdeeds. This was especially very evident during the UPA 2 govt. To put it in a nutshell, media was the 4th pillar of democracy during those days. But unfortunately, today that's no more the case. Distraction of actual issues by diverting public attention to islamophobia/christianophobia/ sikophobia & pakistan/ china along with ever growing nationalism & jingoism to also deviate people from other relevant issues Religion (hinduism) and various government policies/ actions are mixed with each other. Majority appeasement (hinduism). Protection & garlanding of rapists & hate speech proponents. Rampant crony capitalism & all level govt corruption (gautam adani & PM CARES fund are apt examples). Complete lack of transparency in various govt accountability matters/incidents such as PM CARES fund. Suppression of citizen participation in democratic processes like RT| & improper response given to their queries by RTI. Inauguration of half-baked infrastructure projects.
Many of these projects were & are incomplete with lack of proper quality, safety & reliability at the time of their inauguration & thereafter. Make in india project's vision was not fully realised.
There were several issues with it in respect to quality & reliability of various products. The govt failed to extensively utilise its scope & further potential. Electoral scams. Absolute lack of PM's & govt's unscripted interviews & press conference Make In India and Indian manufacturing. We are at almost historical lows in terms of Manufacturing value percent of GDP. The population is growing and getting old. Most people who get educated have to go to Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Lower skilled labours go to the gulf. What investment is made by the Kerala gov? Their model is not sustainable. I saw in news that somewhere >60% of their budget goes only in salaries. Also they are getting the highest Revenue deficit grants from Finance commission. Tamil nadu has done well, but kerala not that sustainable. If it keeps like that in 20 years kerala will be left behind

In an autocratic regime a singular person holds absolute power but in dictatorship a person, an institution or a group might hold absolute power. And yeah i know every party is bad, but this is the worst right now. And just remember a country should never have 1 strong party running for years. There should be rotation every alternate election for good development. As a responsible citizen consider the above points before voting. And pls don't be a blind bhakt to anyone. Have some rational or critical thinking. Critical thinking is crucial for life. Just think if something unfair happens to you or your family, do you really think government will address it? You will the get the same treatment as farmers got. Even Olympics medal winners are treated bad, what can we expect for a common citizen? Just think man, just think. We are humans who have 6 senses. Use the 6th sense (common sense )and analyse all the points and you yourself come to a conclusion.
