Cameron Mcadoo joins us after a tough couple of weeks at the office, as an unlucky crash forced him out of the SX championship. It has been quite the season though for Cam as he was once again in the hunt for the championship even after a crazy first turn incident that left him exposed, but unfazed. In this podcast we talk not only about the above, but about coming out of his shell in 2024, his rivalry with Haiden Deegan, AC's mentorship and retirement, Eli Tomac, if burnouts are a good idea after winning a race, the evolution of 4-stroke, and Supercross tracks in 2024.

Love ac, he's one of the best personalities in the sport, and he accomplished a lot despite his injuries and setbacks, but its absolutely time. He's on a factory team riding in 12-15 every weekend. Its only down from here moving to a different team.

I don’t think he wanted to retire but I’m sure Kawi was hinting at him that it’s time to hang it up. There was no way they were going to let him continue finishing outside the top 10 on their bike. It was definitely the right and perfect ending.

AC definitely retired too soon, IMO he should've tried a change of scenery. Idk what the deal is with Kawi but nobody ever seems happy there for long periods of time, Eli was the most recent guy, obviously Villo maybe the most famous example. I'd like to see AC make a Roczen type move, I feel like AC needs an open type place to thrive, and super under the gun type environment doesn't seem like he fit there.
