Did Alliant Credit Union Make the Perfect Credit Card?

I have had this card for 5 years, and I love it! I easily get $600 plus cashback every year, and I use it as my catch-all card.

I have this card and use it as my primary cash back card. When the card first came out it was 3% cash back without all the hoops to jump through. The bank account with $1,000 in it and the every month transfer was nonexistent. It was the absolute best for a while. The initial qualifications were over a 750 credit score and another credit card with over $20,000 in credit. Also over 100k in income.

I got this card when it came out as a 3% cash back card. They nerfed it after 2 years to what you see now. I use it mainly at wal-mart or any place that doesn't take Mobile Wallet (I have USBAR) but most likely as I move more towards a travel setup it will see less and less usage. They make you cash out in $50 increments so that is a hassle too.

Do you use alliant as your primary bank or just leave in 1000?

@@daniel.sparks I leave 1000 in checking and transfer 25 a month into it. I use Schwab for checking as they have a great setup.
