@kaeleighrosegold1581 There was a prior host I saw an interview with her and Brett says that DW had a similar idea to hers and they kind of mashed them togather. They may have deleted the prior content or channel altogether and started over when Brett came on.

@@ik7578 Yes this is true. I've been piecing it together. They did have the idea for The Comment Section, but I believe Brett is talking about what made it Gen Z with the memes and the TikTok type content and the fast editing was all her influence, hence "That Pilot is comment section". So I'm guessing it was a situation where two groups had a similar idea and they allowed her to make it her own and ran with the style she brought to the idea. Resources: There's a Comment Section Off the Clock video from a year ago where Brett is talking to some of the team that works with her. I couldn't find it, but they mention finding her online. Another video is by Crissy Clark who talks about being the initial choice for the Comment section before she left Daily Wire and they found Brett. It's called "Is this Why Brett Cooper Really Left?"

Well there was crissy clark that worked in DW that was pitched to do comment section before BC was appointed. DW already had this channel b4 hiring BC. But the thing BC made what comment section is today. She built it from ground. We subscribe YT channels for the persons personality not for the show per se. Out of touch older ppl think ppl in general are so replaceable. They are going to learn a very hard lesson. Also they reduced BC to a role as a young hot, camera trained gen z/millenial that can spout right wing ideas and ppl will already flock to it. Insulting to both BC and the audience

Whatever happened happened fast. As of October Brett was still very enthusiastic and happy with Comments Section in an interview she did with Alex Clark. Very much the vibe of I love my job and the people I work with. Still calling Regan her friend and talking positively about her. They had just built the new set this year. Brett was talking about her creative routine on CS etc. Two months later she’s out in a tight lipped goodbye.

@PuddilyOops na i can bet she was on a contract and she knew it was expiring, maybe she tried to renew with a better deal keep the channel for herself snd become a partner with the dw guys or something but they probably refused her , she probably then said okay she's leaving. But they then maybe went behind her back and offered her friend the opportunity of a life time . Instead of being brett side kick for life, come and be like brett. Brett probably got pissed at her friend for taking the deal cause she felt of those guys had no options she would have been able to keep her channel. The dw guys should just have done what I said above . Brett signed away her channel in her first contract. Sad for her, but that's just business. They probably furnished and took on all the marketing and cost for her channel so some might say its a fair price for the fame she received. I don't blame her friend either some people don't want to be eternal side kick to their more beautiful and successful friends forever and she saw a one in a life time opportunity snd grabbed it.

Candace took a month off after leaving the Daily Wire!! Brett can take a week to herself. And she is at AMFEST today (Dec 21st) so she’s back on the grind! We’ll hear from her soon. Another comment: She may not be able to upload a video due to contract reasons. Rumors have it that she may not be able to upload a video to her own new channel till 30 days after leaving. Why would a company do that? It would be seen as taking away views, aka business. Also if you want to, you can watch her recent speech she gave on for the Turning Point USA conferance posted on Right side Broadcasting channel. The petty comments and passive agressiveness in the speech amused me. Like about she had to learn a hard lesson losing individual friends along the way and the daily struggles at work and life. She had to become emancipated from her parents because her parents were going through a divorce, and her father was dragging her into it and causing stress. Her mother was trying to keep her out of it and when Brett told her mom, her mom was fine with her emancipating herself. That's why the parents may not have been around or as involved, or rather may not have been allowed to be as involved during the contract phase. Don't know for certain. Just theorizing.

I think it would be a better strategy for Brett to wait until the new year or maybe longer to produce another video. The daily wire is probably hoping that this will all die down after a few weeks, and everyone will forget this situation. However, if Brett were to wait, just when the DW thinks nobody cares anymore.. BOMB it’s all over social media again. This would cause another big wave of unsubscribes from TCS.

You asked about her parents and where they were when she made those contracts. What I’m about to say is from her own words. She has said this herself in the past. Her parents were not in a good place when she was conceived and her dad basically wanted her dead before she was born. Thankfully her mom chose life. Years later when her parents were getting divorced, she chose to get emancipated so that her dad couldn’t use her as a chess piece in the divorce and so she could work on her own.

Brett PROBABLY CAN NOT show up on another venue for 90, or 180, or 365 days, who knows. If they can squeeze her out of her own show, they can enforce a NON-COMPETE to prevent her appearance for a period of time. How? By the same throat-chain that they used to steal, (allegedly), her show. Brett is getting something out of it. Maybe a severance agreement with buku bucks plus the ability to talk to other venues.
