@@Titleist24 in real life the way to deal with bunch is match but in madden that’s not the case because people need to be in bunch of they can’t score. MCS players are .001% of the community smart guy. Let’s give them 5% the other 95% of the people who run bunch don’t know why the route combos work vs certain zones they Just know a guy on KZbin gave them the scheme. Most people can’t beat match which is why EA continues to dumb it down every year. They make the game easy so the common denominator can have fun and spend their money, it’s not made to actually be a good football game. This is why dollar is the best run defense in the game, or somehow they always have a blitz that just runs past your o line. Most people probably don’t know what a push call is on defense or why cover 9 is good vs bunch/trips formations but they know if you streak a guy it’ll break the zone because of poor coding. They allow cross manned people to still cross the face of the defender no matter the shade on the guy because this allows crossers to be good. They allow you to just high ball at the defenders face(hopefully this patch actually works) so the offense is bailed out. Deep zones allow guys to just run right past them with no conflict to pull them away, they allow 3 man pressure to get instant block sheds, etc.
