I wanted to say thank you to Billy and Jo Smith for sharing your Elvis memories with us all. It can’t be easy to discuss / relive especially since Elvis was kin. Also, a special thank-you to Danielle Smith-Rowe for putting the huge amount of time it takes to produce these great video and audio clips for us all. Great job Danielle and your effort is appreciated

There will never ever be another Elvis Presley. He was was always afraid his fans would forget him, but he is more popular today then he was when he left the building in 1977. You can still feel the charisma through his videos today.i still listen to his music often.would Billy and Jo still live behind Graceland if he was alive today?

Billy you and Jo are terrific! I love learning more about Elvis. I found oud through genealogy that he's my 7th cousin. You have no idea how proud it makes me feel to know that. I can't learn about him enough!! Bless you so much for sharing him with us fans. Billy, I have a feeling Elvis loved you far more than any of the guys. You were like his little brother. Especially since he took you to the governor's party.

Hi Billy, This was the first I heard you were a mason. I am also a mason at Saint Tammany Lodge in Hampton, Virginia. I am sure Elvis would have enjoyed the masons. He would have been a great Worshipful Master. Hope the weather there was cooler last week there than here. Working outside for a federal contractor on a military base in 109 heat index was very rough on my 67 year old body. Please, take care there, and thank y’all for sharing with all of us.

Great session...😊 Look fwd to it every week. Thanks for sharing your Memories & answering Fans queries. I think Elvis valued his Privacy, like most of us do. He wouldnt be pleased with some of the Stuff thats been spoken about him. In the Doco "All the Kings Men" some of the Memphis Mafia revealed really personal stuff they didnt need to reveal to the fans & public! Even Priscilla in her book, I was shocked she revealed things that were between husband & wife, some of the details would have been hurtful to Lisa Marie. You "dont" reveal that stuff. Sure Elvis was human, made mistakes but you dont have to reveal Certain things that should be "kept" Private, in confidence... I'd feel Betrayed big time, if a trusted friend or partner revealed that personal stuff. I saw interview a few years back & Lisa Marie expressed her great Anger & why she wanted nothing to do with some of the Memphis Mafia because of what they revealed about her Father. They Besmirched his character.... I understand now why she felt that way after seeing some of those documentaries. I thought they were going to sit round talking about good positive memories but I was so disappointed in most of it. I think Billy was there in parts but he seemed very" uncomfortable "with some of what was said about his Cousin, he quiet/reserved. I felt sorry for him listening to them say awful things! Anyway glad you guys keep it Positive & even though there may have been hard times, you still keep it dignified & respectful to his Memory!👍🙂

Sandy I have to agree with you about what Priscilla revealed about her and Elvis private moments. I didn’t like it. I feel like she came across as “I’ll show him, I’m a womsn scorned.” I think she regretted it. Telling all. This movie about Priscilla is going to tell allot more.

QUESTION: How competitive was the Memphis Mafia in trying to get close to Elvis? They were his friends but also his employees. We always hear that there was a "pecking order." You know, everyone was "jockeying" for position. For example, who was going to sit next to Elvis or who was going to go somewhere with Elvis. Were they a just a group of "yes men." For example, if Elvis laughed, they would laugh, even if it wasn't funny. Or, were they free to give their honest opinion if they liked or didn't like something? Make sense? I'm not sure how welll I worded this. Thank you.

Billy and Jo, y'all seem so nice and fun. I really enjoy your videos and they are like therapy for me. Thank You So Much for making them. See, I was 8 years old when Elvis passed away. My mom knew I Loved him and after school that day she told me the news knowing I was gonna be upset. I cried all night and she comforted me. Just wanted to tell you my story of it and to let you two know how much you are appreciated. Billy, I have a question, I heard on another Elvis podcast that after Elvis married Priscilla he went to see Ann Margaret in Vegas and went into her dressing room and confessed his unconditional love for her and then he asked her to get back with him. They said in the video that you were with him and heard and saw the whole ordeal. She was married at the time also. Please let me know did that happen and is there any truth to that story? Thank Y'all again

The question regarding a time capsule (before 12:31), there is one. There's an interview, on KZbin, with an archivist. She spoke of a certain drawer in the kitchen, to which Lisa wrote her name and isn't visible from the visitor viewing area. You will have to view that to see if it was visible for video. Enjoy the content,as I enjoy y'all. Just like drawer, I do appreciate the times in when that privacy is closed for y'all and him.

Ok,Lisa backed the Elvis film, but why when it was clearly bad?Was it for money?Did she get paid for the film somehow? She was in financial difficulties as we now know so did she just go along with it because she desperately needed any monies she got from the film do you think? Also Priscilla was a massive part of the Elvis movie, and it was bad and she got paid, her new film is coming I expect that to be bad and just another money making episode for her,is she helping? Is she just making money off of him because that is all she has to earn money,as otherwise her life has been difficult, the Netflix agent Elvis thing hasn’t worked out because they made it too nasty I think, does she have Elvis’s best interests at heart now or her bank account??Also when are we ever going to have the real story of Elvis made, including all the good and the bad that went on,and all the people that were involved???The guy is a one off legend, yet I feel his life has never properly been put out, incredibly disappointing that, unless you study so much information about him and the people who were around him you don’t know the man,I admire the people around him more now than I have ever done in the past,I would like to say to the main members of the Memphis Mafia who are still here and the ones who are not,and to Jo and Linda, thank you from the bottom of my heart for keeping him alive for as long as you did,I don’t think anyone will ever know the joy, hard work and pain the whole thing took out of you all ❤️🙏

I just left a question and hit accidentally hit send. I wanted to add that Danielle, you also seem so nice and fun and you are a wonderful addition to the videos. Don't you ever stop doing these videos as I get a thrill everytime I look at my phone and Y'all have put out another video. I also wanted to tell Billy that Him, Lamar, and Sonny were my favorite Memphis Mafia members. Guess who my favorite has always been, well you guessed it, it has always been Billy Smith. You just seem so Sincere and can have fun at the same time, Very Cool trait, Y'all Take Care PS: Danielle if you don't ask my question on air I will still Love you the same, LOL TCB FOR LIFE

what size was the trailer that Joe and Billy lived in,what ultimately happened to the trailer after they moved out and are there still any of the trailers at Graceland today? I was at Graceland in the mid 80's and although i was around 10 it seems like there was at least one on the property then. We met Uncle Vester there and my dad talked to him for about a half hour.I also think Billy was there then.

QUESTION : The world saw Elvis the way "The Money Machine" carefully presented Elvis. I saw the Elvis interview; June 9, 1972 in New York just before his appearance at Madison Square Gardens where Elvis mentioned that it's very hard to live up to an image. My Question for you folks is and without getting too personal...... What would you say are traits or character mannerisms Elvis didn't like about himself and or what Elvis didn't like most about how he was presented by "The Money Machine"? Great content

@@lt7798 While I don't disagree with you, I do like to discuss the "real" likes and dislikes of celebrities that I'm a fan of, especially Elvis, who, for me was a big part of very few good times in an otherwise horrible time in my life. I am 60 years old and have been an Elvis fan since the age of 8 yrs. I guess because of that I feel like I have a friendship and history of knowing Elvis, of course I only know what the media "allowed" me to know about Elvis. Wanting to know more of the "Non-Media" presentation "human side" of Elvis for me is the same as knowing the good and bad stuff of a good friend. Does that make sense? I wanted to also mention that SouthPark has an episode slamming current day celebrities wanting to always be in media whether we want them to or not, it's called "World Wide Privacy Tour" and it's hilarious.

In my 60+ years as an Elvis fan, I don't recall Elvis ever being called "The Money Macine"... especially with quotes. But he certainly deserved the money that he earned.

@@armchairobserver4747 I'm very aware what it means, it's self explanatory. Elvis was a money machine for many people. He may have been called that behind the scenes,, in certain circles. But you made it sound like it was an official label, which I disagreed with.
