Spa guy gets a little too big for his britches sometimes. He does do a lot of research but he is always too sure that he's correct & that's just not always the case. Nothing personal against him but he's too confidant that he's right all the time at least in the videos of his that I've seen!! You have great memories of Elvis & so many of them to share so keep on telling us because we want to hear them!! I enjoy everyone's videos- Ashley Drew, Spa Guy, MMK, Globetrotting With Trey, EFM. I think you all do a great job with what you do. I've been watching all of these from the very beginning. Lately I've got behind on everyone's videos, and I'm out of the loop on what has happened. But, I have to say, I'm shocked. You all seemed to have respect for each other and seemed like such a great group of people. I think I noticed a change when Spa Guy got the Dojo museum. I noticed that Ashley didn't comment (I don't think so) or didn't participate with any of that, and I found that quite odd, since they always seemed supportive of each other. Maybe it had something to do with the bike discovery. Then I noticed that some of you started selling merchandise and some started asking for donations and it seemed to become more commercial in nature, than it was when it began. Maybe there's competition or jealously? Whatever the case, I wish everyone could roll back to the way they were in the beginning. It was a form of entertainment, for an Elvis fan and not what it's become. I wish you all luck with getting your differences worked out. You all have a lot of knowledge and interesting stories about Elvis. Thanks for the work and time you put into your videos! I truly enjoy them!

I agree with all of your observations. No matter what we are told somehow this comes down to money in some form. I doubt any of them will tell us. I enjoy every one of the creators mentioned. It absolutely doesn’t have to be a competition. An Elvis fan will watch them all. We never get too much content. The dojo was the center of whatever blew up. I hope they can work it out.

Spa Guy told me he didn’t want anyone watching his videos unless they paid him. When I asked “What about the poor?”, he lost it on me . Called me a loser and said “Elvis didn’t do anything unless he was paid.”! Now he’s muted me on his channel, which I never watch anymore. He’s a real jerk. Not Elvis-like at all.

No one dare to question anything or even have a different opinion, that goes for his young " sidekick" who wasn't even born during Elvis life. I have commented about their treatment against Ashley on several occasions over the way she was treated by them over the find of Elvis’s bicycle. She worked and did research for sg FREE for several years and I will add, her research was very thorough and factual. Then when she saw the bicycle in the smokehouse, took pics of it and literally laid it in his hands, he ran with it and took the notoriety and claim to it. Went so far as to BUY his way on Gates of Graceland to brag about it without inviting Ashley to come along and degradingly referred to her as his “sidekick”. He is a narcissist and a misogynist. Every one is beneath him, especially women. I have no use for neither. And I feared when The Smith’s became involved with him and his so-called museum, that he would sooner or later cause problems for them. And so it has now happened. I’m just glad that Billy and Jo have finally spoke out about him. They are such good people and know the WHOLE TRUTH about Elvis from nearly the beginning of his life to the very sad end. I respect you folks tremendously. I love your videos and Danny's too. What's more, I appreciate members of Elvis' family taking the time to share your memories. With that said, I watch Spa Guy too. I don't think he has ever tried to contradict you will any ill will. Memories are perfect...and I don't tune in here wanting to fact check. I love to listen to you recall events in your lives with Elvis - and it doesn't have to be perfect. If he bought you a watch in 1968 and you say 1972 - who cares? I want to hear the way you felt when you relate your stories. I'm not here for an encyclopedic analysis of details. Anyway, all the best wishes and love to you all.

Hi Billy & Jo....I met Billy several times in 1982 & 1984 at Graceland and he always was very nice and took the time to speak to us...And I thank you for that...I have a question that I believe you'll know the answer to...I know Elvis was a fan of Monty Python aswell as he was religious...What do you think he may have though of their 1979 movie Life Of Brian??...Would he have loved its humour or do you think he would've thought it was blasphemous??...Our local cinema here in Swansea, South Wales UK wouldn't show it ..I didn't see it till the 80s when it came out on video!!...Kind regards to you all...Tony B...😎😎🎸🎸

This has been a long time coming and I’m happy people are starting to see through the Spa Guy. People forget when you are talking about Elvis you’re not just telling Elvis’s story but your own too. Something only you can do. People like Spa Guy forget they are invited guests into the Elvis world. When I think of Elvis historians I think of those that have been writing or researching into Elvis for years not just the last few years. Thankyou for saying your piece, you did the fans a service. Too many people take his word as gospel and hold him up as an expert when in fact he relies on others and their research for his stories. @@edwardjohnson9422 I have seen lots of comments on social media now saying things about the way Spa Guy acts that I have seen for a while. I used to follow and subscribe to his channel. I actually liked his content but I started seeing how he spoke to people and about some subjects and some of it pretty nasty and mean. It turned me off him as a person. I have no beef but I think some people saying Spa Guy is the greatest Elvis Historian is ridiculous. There are people that have dedicated years and years to researching Elvis and putting information out they are the historians. I’m not saying Spa Guy doesn’t put in the time or effort but he still doesn’t know enough of the stories. The people who lived the stories are being treated as if they are just fans and should look to people like Spa Guy for the FACTS. All of us Elvis fans should be showing more respect for ALL the people who lived the stories with Elvis.

Seriously, I have been following Elvis since the age of 4. That’s exactly 51 years ago. In those 51 years I don’t think a day has passed where I don’t think of Elvis or read about Elvis or play and Elvis movie or Elvis song, My family even suggested for me to get counselling when I was young because all I talk about was Elvis and nothing else mattered especially school grades😫( believe me nothing has changed, luckily my wife and kids understand or I’d be divorced ). I have met many of the guys over the years,BUT !!!!, I must tell you, I hold the ‘Smith’s’ especially tight to my heart. Always considered Billy my Number #1 when it comes to Elvis, I could honestly sit and listen to him and his lovely wife Jo all day and night . At the 15:44 mark in this video Billy clearly says some lady took a photo but that could have been anytime but her photo was coming back from Libertyland… No it was not!! Then at the 21:19 mark Billy says we are always up for a debate!! Jo then replies at 21:46..Jo makes the comment about being there Vs not being there… I was there!!! So tell me Billy and Jo and Danielle how that is not about my photo that’s copyrighted with the 8/12/77 date and time and returning from the Southbrook theater. If Elvis didn’t go to Southbrook why was his Stutz there??

There have been so many myths and misconceptions built up around Elvis and his family over the years that it's become almost impossible to separate fact from fiction with a lot of it that's why I subscribed to EFM & MMK because no one knew Elvis better than you, Jo and your parents. I’ve honestly never heard Spa Guy say he was the best or even one of the best Elvis researchers. I highly respect the Smith family and Spa Guy. I’m not sure how there could be such a big disagreement over where a movie was shown. Maybe there’s a lack of communication which is really a shame. I think it’s sad that there seems to be conflict in the Elvis family, which includes all of us who love Elvis. I have enjoyed the Spa Guy’s videos and maybe it would have been better to have had this conversation privately. Everyone has respect for you and loves your stories. Look, in my opinion, he’s been a snake in the grass a long time. He’s made very ugly public comments on social media about my grandparents and then hurried up and deletes them when someone comments and gets on his butt. Nothing said here was wrong or ugly… simply the truth. He tries to publicly correct my grandfather on things when my grandfather was physically there when it happened. Crazy!

Some wonderful work going on to preserve and re live Elvis history through all of these channels. However, you are all adults and if you have a problem you need to confront and work it out off YT. There is enough Elvis to go round and multiple points of view of Elvis’ life. These problems are only going to divide you cause trouble and keep EPE in control of all Elvis history. I personally love to see and re live the history with trey, spa guy, Ashley drew, and hearing y’all’s first hand counts. There is room for all and you just need to agree to disagree and support each other and work together mostly important work it out privately as it should be handled.

I don't know the whole story but it seems like a misunderstanding when it comes to the Spa Guy and his videos. I think he's always done his best with the information he has at the time when one of his videos go out. I've heard him say he is speculating if he doesn't have something he couldn't verify as fact. You guys lived it so I'm sure you hear people putting out stories that have nothing to do with fact and that must drive you crazy. I don't think Spa Guy is someone who would intentionally do that to make himself more important than the subject he's investigating for fans of Elvis.

I do not think Lisa is close to Billy or has talked to him for decades. I think she and Priscilla were not happy with Billy participating in the Memphis Mafia book by Alanna Nash. Priscilla and Lisa Marie stayed close to only Joe Esposito, Jerry Schilling, and George Kline. They shunned Lamar, Red, Sonny, Marty, and Billy. Billy did continue to work for EPE when Graceland first opened in 1982 but they had a falling out.

Good for you calling out “The Spa Guy.” I do watch his content to learn history. I have found him to be irritating because he comes across as an arrogant know-it-all. The icing on the cake for me was when he claimed credit for “discovering” Elvis’ bicycle in the smokehouse. He referred to Ashley as “his sidekick.” She was the one that originally initiated the questions about the bike, but he got the credit on an episode of “The Gates of Graceland.” When I see him filming, I deliberately go the opposite direction. He is using the Tigerman Dojo Museum to feed his ego & fill his pockets. I’m not a fan.

Hi Guys, I love listening to all the Facts when it comes to your life growing up in Graceland. I'm from Greenville Tn and I still have the country accent, and listening to you all takes me back home. I would like to say Thank you for always TCb just as you did growing up in the good old days with Elvis, people who don't know the facts should listen to someone like you and Teresa who were there during all those days. I've been an Elvis fan since I was a little girl 5 yrs old and I'm 61 now, and I just want to hear these true life events you all had with Elvis the man , not just the image or myth, I was lucky enough to see him 3 time's in concert, the first time I was just 11 yrs old in Knoxville TN on April 8 1972 at the stokley athletic center in Knoxville, I wish I could go back to that day and time and live it all over again., That was the best day of my life and I still have my ticket stubs from all concerts and the pictures I bought from the vendors, at the second concert in Atlanta, I was 15 in 75 and I bought a pair of binoculars from a vendor to get a better look, and I sold the same ones back to that guy. I'm sorry for rambling, it's just hard to focus when I think back to those days. Thank you so much for doing this Billy, Jo and Danielle. Hearing the truth from family members who were actually ‘there’ tops any amount of research, even if it is well intentioned …. Sadly.that is not always the case. I was recently ‘called out’ and criticised for asking the simple question ‘where did that story come from?’ ….on another channel. I simply asked the question because I have learned over the years to be careful and rely on people who were actually around when things happened and have left several pages/sites because of them spreading mis-information. People who can’t be bothered to check with individuals who were actually around should quite simply shut up ❤️❤️❤️

I’m disappointed that the Spa Guy failed to fact check the forge check story with the Smith family especially having access to them before putting up his video. I’m not sure of when the video was posted and when their relationship began. But if he had access to them he should have confirmed it first. The check story is so important to the Elvis story that you just have to get it right. I just hope the their relationship has not soured and everyone is and remains on friendly terms. But marginalizing Vernon’s role in the episode a leaving the other two as scapegoats is not right. It’s unfortunate the Spa Guy got that one wrong but I’m sure it was unintentional and he takes the steps to retract and correct the video by reediting it. Billy I fully understand your frustration and thank you for the correction. I’ll just say one last thing. I agree with Billy when he says that the Spa Guy does a great job on his videos and I know a lot of hard work, effort, time and money goes into making them but until I hear the stories come out of the mouths of those that were there it’s just hearsay. Just saw the Spa Guys rebuttal and he’s got a great case for the events as they were presented per documented facts. I for one now realize that the facts can be blurred by time. I suspect that there’s some underlying reason that goes beyond accusations of bending the facts that has caused a riff in their relationships that eventfully will come out. Shame things have gotten out of control.

I don't even know why he felt the need to change the story in the first place. It was what it was. And we are not ashamed of what it was. Not a damn person walked in Uncle Travis's shoes and and knows what he was going through at the time but Billy and the family. Like anyone else Uncle Travis was not perfect, but he was still a good guy and loved his family.
