I love you guys. It's so wonderful to listen to you. You seem like family. I met Elvis in 1974 at the STL Airport. They announced he wouldn't sign autographs as they were running late. When the limousines pulled up, I was so stunned my girlfriend kept saying "there he is". I never in my life saw such a beautiful man - those blue eyes. He looked me right in the eyes and gave me a kiss. I still just stood there. You guys were so wonderful to Elvis. He loved his Mother so much.

Hello to you all! I lived in Memphis in ‘73 and ‘74 and you ALWAYS knew when Elvis was in town and at home. So many times my husband and I and our little boy would wait at the Graceland gates to catch a glimpse of Elvis, but we never did. Now, what I remember was that there were always several white Lincoln Continental Mark lV’s parked out front. Can you comment on this?

Janis came out of the Monterey pop fest in 67. Witch was organized by the Mamas and Papas ....John McKenzie ? ....anyway I read John and his friends met Elvis (with his guys) while riding motor cycles in the desert near Palm Springs. Elvis didn't know who they were and perhaps thought they were a Hells angels type of hippie gang or something . John recognized Elvis right away and eagerly introduced himself . I Wonder if Billy was there ?

Danielle is so beautiful and reminds me so of her beautiful grandmother Jo.. however Danielle looks also alike one of Lisa's twins and y'all know which one I am talking about. Joe Esposito said Elvis wanted to go make an appearance at the jerry lewis telethon and Joe told him no cause Joe thought Elvis was too drugged up to go down. He talked Elvis out of it. Does Billy and Jo know about it? So Elvis made a check out to the telethon and Frank Sinatra took it to Jerry and made the announcement on the show.

Hi Smith family It would hsve been great if Elvis did have a chance to colaborated with other artist , Sometimes its not about the money , Its for fun , experiences and memories just like he did on the Frank Sinatra Show. when the two sang together for fun but with Col. Parker it was all about money the man really stunted Elvis greatness all that he was , He could have been so much more , So many wanted a part of Elvis stardom but they didnt want to deal with Parker, I loved the way Lisa sang along with his songs. Parker was more a curse on Elvis career. than a blessing. . My opinion A Blessing from 1955- 1960 right after he completed the army .A curse from 1961 - 1977. He totally omited what Elvis wanted for his carreer Elvis described his dream carreer in his first interview in his father's. Office after returning home from the military but he never lived his dream of dramatic movies and traveling internationally .His spirit and dreams was crushed by a man who wanted to do it his way. Thats just my opinion but as always tfs .

Hi from Western Australia...Wonderful to listen to your stories Billy & Jo, you guys truly are generous with us fans sharing your precious Memories. Really enjoy your imput Jo, you & Billy make me smile 🙂with your banter!! I read Elvis didnt always go to funerals,weddings as he didnt want to draw attention to himself, cause crowds to" overshadow" the persons occasion. I've been reading Gene Smiths book"Elvis Man Friday". So interesting the early days on the road & on movie sets...I know Gene & brother Carroll Junior was older than Billy but did he get along with them, in the photos in the book you can see a real likeness as boys fair haired Gene(@ 7yrs) & similar looks as Billy(cousins). Even Elvis had fair hair as a boy you see likeness in him & Gene( they 7 week's apart in age) in some pics. Elvis's Mother Gladys parents Robert & Octavia(Doll) Smith were very good looking people when young you can see Elvis got his looks from them. Especially Robert Smith..Elvis had a good mix from both Presley & Smith side. You can see his Father Vernon at times in his expressions & mannerisms. It would be so wonderful if Riley Keogh & Lisa's young twin girls met up with you guys as you were both so close to their Grandfather. Important they meet true kinfolk! The twins already have strong Presley gene, you can see real likeness of Elvis across eyes...I heard Riley called her little baby girl "Tupelo" after Elvis birthplace, not sure if true! but nice! I've never commented before but my family was and still are Elvis fans. We knew about the book but didn't read it. There was no way we would change our feeling for Elvis. We didn't know him but we felt like we did we loved him. The book made them look bad! TCB

Absolutely made them look like traitors because Elvis was not only their boss but a great friend to them who's boss buys them homes multiple luxury cars trucks motorcycles jewery they all had horses they all went on all expenses paid vacations to Hawaii mostly all of them played parts in almost every movie also n it can just go on n on of what Elvis had given them I feel so bad for Elvis the day he realized they weren't loyal friends And were gonna expose everything he was trying to keep secret it probably made him physically ill they knew how he was
