Study of the “Man” word in the bible-New Testament.
Objective: To find Spiritual being vs human man in the bible
Findings: Andros referring to the strong manly man or husband title which seems to be representing stronger beings/spiritual beings in God’s image, also represents Christ.
Aner refers to man in general and seems to be representing male humans.
Anthropos, Anthropos, Arsen and Andri all seem to refer to general male or mankind.
Words used in the bible
Man (aner) =male human being
Man (andros) = husband, manly, strong, warrior, etc seems like spiritual beings
Husband (andros)= Jesus Christ, spiritual beings
man (anthropou) =male singular
man (anthropos) =male, natural man 1 Corinthian 2:14 or mankind
Man (andri) = human being, indirect singular of aner
Man (arsen)= male
Luke 8:41 And behold, there came a man(aner) named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue
Explanation- man (aner) is male being, in flesh
Luke 16:18 Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced from her husband (andros) commits adultery.
Explanation- Husband(andros) which represents Jesus.
1 Timothy 5:9 Do not let a widow under sixty years old be taken into the number, and not unless she has been the wife of one man(andros)...
Explanation- true widow is the one who is married to Jesus and after have become window (symbolically bride, without spot and blameless)
1 Corinthians 11:3 “But I want you to know that the head of every man (andros) is Christ, the head of woman is man (aner), and the head of Christ is God.
Explanation- The head of every man (andros) (all spiritual beings) is Christ (resurrected Christ). The head of woman (all of mankind) is man (aner) male (Jesus in the flesh, the man).
If human men in general were head of women, then it would say “The head of every (aner) is Christ, the head of woman is (aner), and the head of Christ is God.” But it does not say that. Andros meaning is also man but it's a stronger man meaning if all believers have flesh(woman)+spirit(man) then the one who becomes spiritually stronger is Andros. Andros who rules over his/her flesh and lives according to the Spirit.
1 Corinthian 11:7 For a man (aner) indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man (andros).
Explanation- Man- aner is male Jesus in flesh who is the image and glory of God, woman (all mankind) is glory of Christ. Covering is obeying commandments that Jesus in the flesh didnt need to as He Himself was the Law.
1 Corinthians 11:8 For man (aner) is not from woman, but woman from man (andros).
Explanation- this makes perfect sense as aner(human, first creation of God) is not originally from woman, but woman(all mankind) is from man(andros)(husband) which is Christ. We were taken out of Jesus Christ, His bones and flesh. (In Genesis, creation of Jesus and His helper is demonstrated by God, invisible demonstrated in visible. Jesus in God’s image stronger than helper who is all of mankind (woman who is weaker))
Revelation 3:14 These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;...
Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made…
1 Corinthians 11:11 Nevertheless, neither is man (aner) independent of woman, nor woman independent of man (andros), in the Lord. 12 For as woman came from man (andros), even so man (aner) also comes through woman; but all things are from God.
Explanation- Paul is talking about two things here. Part 1) Human male (aner) is not independent of human woman. Part 2) Woman represents all mankind and we all are not independent of man (andros) in the Lord, man(andros) is Christ and we were created through Him and for Him, so we are not independent of Christ, the first creation of God in God’s image. Then Paul talks about man(aner) who is human male comes through human woman. But all things are from God.
1 Timothy 2:12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man (andros), but to be in silence.
Explanation- woman represents all mankind and man (andros) represents spiritual beings, natural man/woman cannot have authority over andros.
Below all verses are used for all mankind in general but word “man” is used.
For the Son of Man(anthropou) is Lord even of the Sabbath (Matthew 12:8)
What is man (anthropos) that You are mindful of him,Or the son of man that you take care of him? (Hebrews 2:6)
