Noah was a righteous man, but after the FLOOD he got drunk and naked. Is that a righteous thing to do? Did GOD PUNISH NOAH for that? Or is there another reason?
The BIBLE has many interesting stories and sometimes there are interesting things that happen that make us realize there is more to the story.
After the FLOOD, Noah and his family began to live off the land, but something happened that made God leave for another 400 years, until Abraham came. What was the reason God did this?
FRESH PERSPECTIVE ON FAITH, LIFE, GOD & BIBLE!! Time for HONEST CONVERSATION about what we BELIEVE!

Noah went through horrible trauma seeing the world flood. Everyone died. It's a heavy toll. He was in a ship for 40 nights wondering what is going to happen. It's a heavy toll, he needed a drink

Very interesting video - makes me think of when Elisha was mocked by "youth" (who were subsequently cursed). Being the "Man of God" comes with such responsibility (and consequence for those who do not respect them). I do have some questions about what Ham might have actually done (other than kind of shaming his father and gossiping to his sibling - emphasis on "nakedness").

thank you p Sky for the message. besides learning that i should believe and learn from the man that is being sent by God. i also learned that i should not gossip about what i know from people but to keep it as a secret because i dont think God will be happy if i should gossip :). what do you think p Sky? another question is that how do i know that the person is being sent by God and i should listen to what the person says?
@therebelpastor
@therebelpastor 2 жыл бұрын
that is a great question. finding the person sent by God is not an easy thing, but we can tell by the words they speak and the actions they take. all the great figures were given the Word, and what they spoke of rang true in our hearts and were prophetic, coming true in the end. also, when you see how they lived their lives, it was solely focused on what God wanted them to do. they were relentless, like Noah, not caring about what others thought but continued to preach that a flood was coming and built the ark. but I really believe that this is something that requires us to be spiritual too. that we should pray to have our spiritual eyes and ears open...and really have an open heart.

That was a great interpretation but maybe it goes deeper than that. What is Mount Arat was as the tree of good and evil. The tent represents God's presence. As you said Noah was set apart as was Adam and Eve. Maybe they were priests. Noah chose to take forbidden fruit. Maybe the nakedness (like Adam and Eve) were stripping off priestly garment (and it was handed down to line of Noah). Consequence was damaged relationship with God. Maybe the other two sons respected God's presence and Ham did not, therefore became cursed. Just a thought. Maybe Ham stole Noah's priestly garment. Lmk what you think please.
@therebelpastor
@therebelpastor 3 ай бұрын
That's an interesting take.I can see the symbolism you brought up too. I guess the bigger question should be whether this holds true. Some things to think about would be: - Noah ate the Forbidden Fruit would mean that Noah did a sin that was equal to the Fall? If this were the case, then Noah would have been cursed instead of Ham - The nakedness was not a bad thing in the Garden of Eden, it was considered their original form. This is why AFTER the Fall, God gave them clothes of animals skins (Gen 3:21), which is a lesser form or punishment. - I do agree that the 2 sons respected and loved God, and this is apparent since they did not get cursed, only Ham.

Question. Is it a righteous thing to expose a leader (man/woman of God) only to a select few who have been hurt by the same leader not to cause doubt/division (God has proven He's working through the leader), but to help the followers and indirectly the leader as well? I mean help so that the follower's voices felt heard and to prevent more followers to be hurt. Then, when the leader doesn't listen to one person, with more witnesses it can help correct the leader like Paul mentions in Matthew 18:15-17 ? What are your thoughts on this?
@therebelpastor
@therebelpastor 2 жыл бұрын
I believe that exposing is the key word. We are held to keep our pastors and leaders accountable because we are all relatively at the same level. Yes, I do think it can be done very wisely between the people who are affected by it, as long as it doesn't turn into a blame or guilt event. But definitely we need to hold each other accountable. As it says in Mt 18:15-17 - there is a wise way to do things without exposing your brothers and sisters.
@alejandralizama4458

Very good video. Only one thing bothers me. What was the mistake of Canaan? And why was Canaan cursed instead of Ham, his father? Or at least why was the son of Ham who was assigned a much heavier burden for the sins committed by his father? Another problem with this stroy is that it sets a foundation for slavery and much worse atrocities committed against a people born in later generations simply because they have a relationship with someone who sinned, if at all Canaan sinned. You rightly pointed out that David did much worse than Noah. The only way David is not severely punished and his sons spared from slavery is that Noah was a man of God who was destined to save his people. So there was much expectations to the man of God. But what about David? As you have mentioned every time God wanted to save his people he sent a person with this mission. So David was also sent to save his people from the atrocities of the Philistines and Goliath. He was also the man of God. A man from whose descendants a future messiah would come and save the whole world, not only a few people of Noah . In fact, the saviour of the world must be from his lineage. Much worse, David did this after the laws were made compulsory to them while during Noah there were no as we k ow them. So David must have had a much greater punishment.... So why Canaan and not Ham or Noah?

Could Ham didn't know what to do, could that be a reason why he had to ask his brothers what to do. Another thing about the brothers not looking at their father naked, why would that be wrong unless you have explicit thoughts
@therebelpastor
@therebelpastor Жыл бұрын
It’s not about seeing their father naked. It’s more of the situation of what the father may be in. As the man of God at that time, the situation of the father may make the children stumble. Is Noah perfect? Absolutely not, only Jesus was perfect. But the human mind is fickle and can easily doubt. One of the reasons why you can know that Ham didn’t see his father favourably, is the reaction by the brothers who walked in backwards and not wanting to see the man of God in a compromising position.

@@therebelpastor thanks for the response, I just don't understand why would God make humans go through that temptation, like Adam being presented with a bad tree in the garden, or Noah getting drunk for others to be cursed, how Jesus made wine so others can get drunk, and how Job was stripped away from everything so he can proof to the devil that he was worthy. It kind of seems like a test which God claims it's not. Could it all just be a consequence?
@therebelpastor
@therebelpastor Жыл бұрын
James 1::13-14 - which says that God does not tempt anyone, and also that people are ensnared by their own desires. Which also makes me think deeper about temptation. Some people are tempted by money, and others aren't. Its actually what we desire that makes us get tempted by things. If some are tempted by things and others aren't, how would God operate in that situation? It would almost be unfair, cause whatever He did, someone would complain or go against Him. Imagine having 3 children, and 2 of them are not sensitive. Your actions may be ok with 2 of the children, but not the 1. Does that mean you don't do it at all? Or is it a part of life that we deal with the different temptations we face? Is it something that we have to learn how to overcome and become stronger because of it? Its a really interesting topic you brought up. I would definitely want to make a video on this.

I think you should review the Truth about Noah and the FLOOD the aftermath when everyone departed the ark the animals and the humans more than 8 All the six day creation as well as Noah's family members! His family members are all ADAMIC MEANING that through THEIR geologically Jesus Christ will be born but that's another subject for a different time! What' was Noah's professions before the FLOOD!? A farmer. Mostly planting trees and vineyards grapes was his best ! So after everything calmed down and NOAH' made the proper sacrifice NOAH' planted grapes when they we're ripe he Harvest some of them made wine! And being a celebration and thankful to God' for THIER. Survival of the flood; he made the wine gave some w his wife and youngest son HAM! Being a new batch of wine it was very strong and powerful the effects came on fast! It most likely getting his wife and youngest son HAM rather tipsy NOAH'S probably had More than he should have got totally intoxicated and Ham was probably feeling no pain as one would say today when becoming over intoxicated and his mother also ! And they had a great time results of having a sexual encounter! Here's the meaning of uncovering your father nakedness ; turn to Leviticus chapter 20 v 11-21 laying with your father wife is uncovering your father nakedness it could mean sisters sister-in-law daughter -in -law etc but in the case of ham it was HIS own mother! Ham when he realized what he did went to his older brothers told them! They quickly got a blanket or some covering and went backwards into the tent holding it outward turned and walk backwards not to see what THIER younger brother had done! Later Noah woke up and EITHER the brothers told or maybe THIER mother told NOAH' or even HAM confess to doing what he did with his mother! And the result of what HAM did a child a son was born as ham son grew up Noah got mader and mader angry He cursed cannon the boy named and HAM sent them away! Why because he got tired of seeing what happened between his wife and HAM! Remember it wasn't God' doing the cursing it was Noah's. ! Here comes the part MANY MANY pastor's MINSTERS PRIESTS RABBIS TEACHING that relationship between Ham and his mother was the beginning of the black people which is the highest insult to our black brothers and sisters of believers! The clergy I guess overlook GENESIS chapter 1 v 26-31 when God Told the angles let's make man no gender intended look like we do in the sprit into flesh body that means God' made white black yellow brown people of the world some were hunters some fisherman told each group go out and repopulate the earth! Why ? Because of the CATABOE or Satan rebellion and the earth needed people. To tend to the earth in v 31 God looks around and was very pleased with his creation and the Way it looks all of it! This is KNOWN as the six day creation remember in book of 1st Peter chapter 3 v 8 and 9 and the following one day with the FATHER God is 1000 years 1000 Year is one day! It was 6000 years remember God' rested on the seventh day another 1000 years in chapter 2 of Genesis v 18 and the following God' made a garden but didn't havea person to tend to it alon dam or f-ha dom another type of Adam. Will with the help of his mate eve by name will be the couple who will where Jesus Christ will come forth including Noah's family his three sons and THIER wives all being ADAMIC! One last detail a couple Man and woman and are the same race and a child is born in THIER union that child will be of that same race ask your family doctor if that isn't a fact of life!
