It is fun to watch, (I have always loved out door work, and artfully developing property), side story, I was at a friend's home out working in their back yard doing some landscaping, the wife's sister was visiting and looked out at the back yard and asked her sister, "who is the old lady working in your back yard?", my friend replied, "she's a friend that lives in an apartment and misses working in a yard, and asked if she could work on our's for free!" OMG, Spruce trying to butt heads with Mario like he's a big boy! Spruce is being tuff today! Probably not being able to smell the goat pen is a blessing. I had Covid in 2020 & I still don't have my sense of smell like it was. The goats all seem to be getting along fairly well for now & I hope it continues..

Spruce will begin acting "manly" and assertive when his testosterone engages at about 8-12 weeks. I currently have 4 bucklings aged 8-12 weeks and they are starting to feel their 'oats' now. It's not annoying now, just cute. In two months, I'm sure the cuteness will wear off rather quickly.

Spruce head butting Mario is so cute. I have seen on other channels that the coyote and wild hog issues are bad this year. Get a premier portable fence for the chickens 🐔 . You can easily move it as your needs dictate. ❤️

That was the sweetest thing I have ever seen a big goat do for a baby kid. Mario showed nothing but kindness to Spruce. When Spruce was head-butting Mario, then started pawing at him. The trick will be figuring out where rather than when. All of the animals you listed are all nocturnal. Gotta figure out how to keep the animals safe during the night when the coyotes are pack hunting. Gotta be more wily than they are.

Mario is so patient with Spruce, almost encouraging him to practice head butts, to teach him as he grows up. Almost a perfect dad, playing gentle with his own son. Luigi, is less inclined to take Spruce challenges, and goes to return the play, like an older brother with, to him, naughty younger brother, and making it rough play. Spruce remains the ever playful, hopping, active little character, always seeking fun and attention from all around. Nice seeing very calm meal time of all four adult goats. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hey try cleaning the wood in the goat enclosure with Simply Green - Home Depot carries it by the gallon- but it’s concentrated so a little goes a long way- I cleaned animal urine off concrete & wood and it totally gets rid of the odor ❤

I love how all the goats play together now. They are a real herd now :) For the issue with the Coyotes theres one simple solution guys- yall need a 2nd LGD! They work better in teams anyways- that way one can stay with the goats while the other check out the area. Just saying :) Seriouly though, I would for sure not let the chickens free range- maybe 1-2 hours before "bedtime", that way they wont range out too far from the coop anymore. Otherwise on your tight wooded property the wildlife will pick them up one by one. I suggest to make a nice run like your dad has. I had lost chicken by letting them free range... despite having a big dog, cats and even 22 horses right next door. Ge you another Herk :) (maybe a sweet girl?) God bless!

Hercules pee is a good warning to the yotes but it will also help if Kyle pees around. Not joking. Also stay armed. Herc cannot fend off a whole pack. They are ferocious.

You guys need to invest in a bag or 2 of parasitic wasps, they sound bad but don't turn into flying bugs, and the larva ear fly larva and eggs, you just sprinkle a bag around a farmyard, try looking into it, it's worked for me
