Honestly I appreciate that the rainbow pillow kit has no instructions - less paper waste, since most people will ignore them anyway, and super simple and visual pictures explaining the essentially two-step process. Don’t over complicate it! We don’t need an entire booklet to say “push fabric into hole”.

I couldn't decide which video to put this on, because I have gone back and watched every video you have made. So, I decided to just put it here. Rose, I really love your videos. You're funny and smart. You're also very creative. Best of all as far as I'm concerned, you're not afraid to do a few coats of paint on any given project. I've never been very patient with doing multiple coats, so your patience really impresses me. I really love it that you just jump right in on a project, and worry about planning as you go. Your bravery when it comes to changing horses midstream is so amazing to me, too. I like watching and listening to your videos right before bed. Your voice is soft, and just you're silly enough to make it fun to listen to your videos. You're crafting choices are fun, too. It's clear you choose your projects based on the time you're going to have to work on them, so none of them are too complicated. You have a good variety of crafts, as well. Plus, I really love your usual palette. Like most crafters I know of, rainbow is my favorite palette, too. Okay, there you go! I think about leaving this kind of comment during every video. I just decided to pull the trigger and let you know how much I love your channel right now. Please keep making videos for as long as you enjoy it, which I hope is a good long time. 😊

really cool, i'm really impressed by the rainbow one- I've never seen it done like that before. Reminds me a lot of punch needling but without the loop part lol. It's a lot of fun to do as well and you can really diy it by using strips of fabric from like an old tshirt and a crochet hook, you do have to use fabric with bigger holes- when I did it I used burlap. Covering it with tshirt material makes it soft pillow, no scratchy burlap exposed. yesss to the paper art. I wonder too what other things you could add to give it more depth. Like tissue paper with sparkles in it or air brushing it after- I think acrylic paint would be too thick..or it might create a cool texture. im just spitballing here, imma have to go on my own rabbit hole research to see what other artists have done lol.

Hey! I just wanted to pop in and give a friendly correction about something you said. When you mentioned "obsessive compulsive nature" and sorting, that's not what OCD is. As someone with OCD, it has to do with extremely upsetting unwanted thoughts that you then try and use compulsions to get rid of. It doesn't have to do with sorting or cleaning really. For me, my compulsions aren't visible and the idea that OCD is about sorting or being clean actually made it harder for me to get help. I don't think you're a bad person, I think a lot of people just don't know. Great video!

I have OCD where I'm a compulsive checker, I dont find this offensive since American media has misrepresented it for years, its just a matter of polite education on the matter.
@seamystic93253 ай бұрын
Genuine question, how do you think it should be classified/described? Idiosyncrasies?
@RoseRequinCrafts3 ай бұрын
How would you refer to a compulsive need for order? I specifically didn't say OCD because I didn't mean OCD. I do obsess over details and order but I don't know how else to refer to that. Edit: I mean this in a genuine way. I don't want to offend anyone, so I would like to know a better way to describe it.
@jackm.j.35493 ай бұрын
You could say "detail oriented" or maybe "organizationally minded". I really appreciate that you didn't say OCD! I'm not offended or upset. I just think there are ways to rephrase that don't specifically link to something OCD adjacent. I really appreciate you asking. Even not using a specific term and describing the feeling like "I have a compulsive need to organize and sort" might encapsulate what you feel a little better. Thanks for listening! I'm just one person with OCD and lots of people have lots of thoughts and feelings and I appreciate you hearing me out.

@@RoseRequinCrafts Id be fine if you just said Compulsive Organiser, it's the O and the D that makes all the difference.. OCD is an actual disorder where someone can't control it so Id use someone like Monk from the show... Monk as a fair example.

Hey. I like your videos but I didnt appreciate the reference to you "obsessive-compulsive nature". Unless you actually have OCD in which case it's up to you but I have OCD, and it's really harmful to have people constantly reduce this debilitating illness to "lol I'm such a perfectionist!" Like. I'm terrified of driving because I'm scared I'll kill someone. I have intrusive thoughts of harming my family. OCD is not just organizing.
@LNHarkness3 ай бұрын
OCD is not just organizing, but Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder is a mental condition where a person is preoccupied with perfectionism, orderliness, organization and control. Rose, has said she is in therapy, and has referenced needing things to be organized before, so it's possible she has OCPD and that's what she means when she says that.
@puppykitten15573 ай бұрын
@@LNHarkness I hope so! Not that she's unwell of course, but that she's using that phrase carefully. I've heard so many KZbinrs throw around "oh I'm so OCD I like my pens to be organized" or "I'm so OCD I'm upset when projects fail" and it can be so upsetting. Totally leaving things to the benefit of the doubt but it's a common incorrectly used thing.

You are too harsh on these children craft kits. The foam panda wasn't scary, and it wasn't scarier with the eyes on. It's meant for a fun craft to do, not a perfectionist craft for adults.
