Because of this video, i bought one for my son and I to mod. We got the black metalic. Ours came with a gig bag, strap, cable, extra strings, etc., and was around $75 shipped. I see now they have HSS for the same price. You are right, the neck is very comfortable.

That guitar is well worth the price. The pickups can be changed out, but it still actually sounds good. The nut may not be bone, but most budget guitars are the same. LOL. That shirt that you are wearing, is on my Temu purchase list. Great review as always Richard. Shred on!

I won't say anything about the quality (since I've never ordered one), but Guitar Fetish has GF Basics, which is a finished body and neck for $90. That's ~$50 for a body if you split the cost between them. They also offer Lido bodies which are around $70, but pretty much always running a 10-20% off sales, which makes them comparable as well.

The purple guitar looks VERY similar to one with subtle yellow sparkle finish I bought 15 years ago, way before Temu and all the other options available today. Apart from the color (duh!) and a different name on the heastock it looks like the same guitar. I did pay more than $116 though, but not that much more. I even had it PLEK'd. Maybe not the wisest decision one can make from an economical standpoint, but it does play quite nice. 😄

This is why I love this channel. I've been playing guitar since Roger Moore was still James Bond. I've owned many guitars, including Fender strats...and not so Fenderish strats. My first guitar was a Fender strat. I'm partial to the form factor. A guitar like this TEMU makes for a great mod platform and that's what I do with guitars like this. I'd probably throw a Hot Rail in the bridge or pop on one of my ready wired pickguards with some Duncans or DiMarzios I've had for years. Guitars don't have to be perfect. There is no such thing as perfect. They just need to be good enough. The rest is up to the player. Also, amps make a MUCH bigger difference than pickups, and no amp can sound great without the right speaker. You run the best amp through a crappy speaker you get a crappy sound, but you run it through the right speaker and you get a great tone.

When I was young and dumb well maybe still am but back then I would have called blasphemy on you and how dare you not play anything but usa ,especially guitars like this but they were a lot worse back then now , Hell change out some of the hardware maybe pickups or better electronics,roll and or smooth out the fret ends if needed and set your action and your good to go ,I’ve watched countless videos of Gibson epic failures,fender going woke and dropping the rockers that made that company,it’s an embarrassment how far they fell from the high horse of elite guitars 😢

i bought one of their kits. unpainted it. then painted it candy apple blue with mother of pearl . like i did my pickup truck. i have been playing guitar since 1970 these kits are pretty good temu does have decent stuff. not great but decent.i always change the pickups and tuners so i have a 4000 dollar guitar for less than 350 .so far so good.

I've got a couple Strats but I'm not a real fan of them but that's pretty cool looking. I've ordered 4 items from temu and I'm waiting for them , they have a crazy amount of stuff for wicked good prices , my only complaint is their shipping is slow as hell. I’ve bought a few things from temu. Most aren’t all that bad, just don’t buy any electronics. I had a guitar pedal catch fire from the power source. Also, I got a wireless charging dock that had a few plugins for apple and usb-c, ruined my AirPods and a vape. I won’t buy anything from them anymore because forget about quality control, they have no SAFETY control. But as far as bags, clothes, and other stuff that can’t hurt you with electricity goes, they have some decent stuff.

I would like just to alert everyone that temu bodies, in particoular those 2 white and purple are not having fender standard neck pocket...especially widht is almost 2mm wider (57.5mm vs 55.6mm from fender)....so if you want to fit a fender spec neck you will require to shim almost 0.8mm on each side and that would be estetically unacceptable for me :) I returned them both...hoping to find better bodies....the rest including finish was killer!!!

Dunlop 1.14 mm with beveled edge. I don't analyze my picking. I just do it. I'm just picking out a bunch of single notes on the first four strings.

Don't know how, but those gu8tars at that Temu location..l. the brand you referred... WOW! They really know how to make a guitar look good! No, I mean great! I can't buy anymore guitars this season, or I would have considered 4 or 5 to purchase and upgrade because you're right. They already look like top-row guitars. (That's the top row at Guitar Center where they put the more expensive guitars.)

the reason why these guitars keep going in and out of stock, and oftentimes with different logos, is because these unstable cheap produces open and close all the time. After they quickly close production, they just sell all their inventory to the next sucker willing to buy it

Why dont all guitars have jumbo stainless steel frets? Stainless steel frets, good action, good frets. As long as the color is decent dont care how it looks. All guitars should have steel frets so i can play them into the ground.

The code should work. I've ordered a lot from both. TEMU is way more reliable. My stuff has always arrived. Not the case with AliExpress. TEMU stock constantly changes. They sell a lot. If it's out of stock today it could be back very soon.

Proof of two things; 1: the most important part of tone is your hands and your amp. Quality amp and a quality player can make strings tied to a shovel sound good. See Justin Johnson. #2 it costs nothing to put wood and strings together in china especially with no name brand to pay for.
