Hey static! Tip from a digital artist, if youre worried about coloring outside the lines try a setting called "alpha lock". It locks an individual layer to the already present drawing on that layer (very handy for coloring in lineart!)

This video inspired me to do this myself :] but I just used a random pkmn generator to pick! It’s been very fun so far!! Definitely a visually pleasing way to fill up sketchbook spreads. And yes, you did draw my favorite (sableye !) Also I had Pokémon plushies like that togepi but they flipped into pokeballs! I think I had a gengar 🤔

I'm so glad you drew Ribombee!! They're not my #1, but Ribombee carried my team so hard in Sun and Moon, and still does. I originally just wanted to evolve Cutiefly for the pokedex entry, but I needed a good fairy type so I stuck with Ribombee. Eventually, I got stuck in a fight and she totally demolished the entire other team. Loved Ribombee ever since!

Dude this is so awesome! The style is adorable and i love hearing your opinions on them! Certainly take as long a break as you need to recover from this end of the project before you do the next part! My favorite Pokémon is shiny ditto, specifically because the first ditto i ever got was a shiny! Hes my boi, i love him so much! Besides him i really love the charmander line and the goomy line! They are just so squishy and cute, though charizard is a little over rated at this point😅 About the eeveelutions- the community seems to agree that they have variations of dog or cat energy! So like espeon is cat and umbreon is dog! I liked how you said fox though, because it can fit as well! For the pokemon games- youre not wrong!! The newer games are being produced really fast and feel like they are missing designs, lore game code! But they literally are! I went from playing pokemon red on gameboy, to playing pokemon sword on switch and the change was jaring. Ive sunk hours upon hours into pokemon red and ive never beaten the game but i take a lot of fun in the way it is set up and the challenges! The rival was fun and even though it was 2d, the world felt very open! Unlike pokemon sword, the game is super controlled, unneeded cut scenes, the 2d to open world is confusing, rival wasnt a rival, the challenges werent hard and i beat the entire game, full pokedex, in like 30 hrs. I wasnt nearly as impressed, i was a little sad actually. Same with my younger brother, hasnt beaten Red but has beaten Sword. While i was much happier with pokemon arceus i did run into some of the same issues- too many unneeded cut scenes, your rival isnt a rival, the challeneges are easy and ive beaten the game really quickly. This open world was okay though, with plenty of ways to get around. I will agree that BotW and TotK have gotten that open world energy, with difficult puzzles and fun enemies quite a bit better

I've been doing a similar chalenge! I really love how you simplified the pokemon and that you did some of my favorites.❤❤ (Sableye, Banette, Corviknight, Dragapult, Houndour/doom, the Arcanine line, and the Gengar line) I was surprised to see that Flareon, Phantump, or any of the ones from the Charizard line not show up. 27:43 I have a tip for that! Rather than having to trace the drawings outline and fill it- The fastest way to do that is to use the magic wand on all the "white space" around the drawing (it works best if your line art has no gaps), then inverting the selection! then I just paint bucket whatever I have selected and clip it to a layer!! (I hope this saves you tremendous amounts of time, because it sure has saved me DAYS of work!)
