25x400 that’s amazing. Did a 12x 400 last week and I nearly died.😂😂😂. Inspiring stuff.

Thanks! Dont forget though these were very controlled, so they weren't super hard or all out efforts.... it sounds more impressive that it was haha

Matt has sometimes set me something like 25x400 of a minute I think. Good session if mentally tough and yeah can be tempting to "race" them as time goes on. Never quite know with those lactate monitors how stable the readings are but good to see if it was in the right ballpark.

Cheers buddy, yeah I just want it in and around the right area, it’s half of what it was the week before and the effort definitely felt half too! Tough old sessions aren’t they, when you hear the words “400” you instantly think of short fast reps!

@@TheFODRunner yeah I think of 400s and 1500/Mile pace but 25 is a 10K !!!

Runners knot for some but asics Metaspeed sky regular (for some reason it just works). Better luck with Slovenia.

I was surprised, last sunday after a 10k race where I equaled my 10k TT I did 4 weeks out from my last marathon. We checked my lactate immediately post race and I was only 3.7 mmol. Where I would have predicted I was over 4 easily. I guess all the work I've done to try and push my LT2 has worked. The really surprising thing was, I did a Parkrun the week before at my goal Chicago power and lactate was 2.4 mmol. Great coaching and execution of plans can yield great results. If you can keep this up leading into the next marathon, it should unlock an extra gear you can hold...if you can finally get the fueling sorted.

Wow thats an incredible to have that low of a lactate level after a race! Fingers crossed buddy, I will keep working!

Very nice as always, but... 'The summer has been terrible recently - it would be great if we get some late summer occurring' ... what? Today is the first day of summer!!! :-) (or is this video from the future?)
