Have only been to Hershey once (86) but it was a religious experience! By day 3 I was so sick of looking at car parts I just looked at the ground walking up and down the isles. We drove down in a 57 Pontiac 4 door hardtop we had just put together, tore off the valve covers every 200 miles and coated the rocker arms with plumbers grease due to poor upper oiling. It was an uneventful but memorable trip!

Great episode. I always like seeing swap meet finds. Hershey is on my bucket list. The headlight bar will help with the early 26 fender bouncing and rattling. If you want to keep you correct stem mount early 26 headlights there is an accessory cross bar that mounts between the fender and the feet of the stem mount headlights. It was a popular accessory for the weak early 26 style before Ford added the bar. I may have an extra if your interested. When rebuilding the spark plugs be very careful with the copper crush washers. They are very hard to come by. If you find out they do not reseal well after rebuild they may need annealed. To do that, heat them till just before or barely turn red in a dark work area. Do no overheat. Then when hot quench in water. That will soften them up and they should reseal better when using them. The valve tool is a Ford dealer tool. Any Z tool was tools supplied to the dealers. The 3Z number is a earlier version of the tool. 5Z tools are the more common Z tool numbers. Any tool you find with a Z number is likely a Ford dealer tool. Ford copyrighted the Z letter in their tool and part numbering system. So there was not many other tool makers that used Z in their tool numbers. Nice finds, and thanks for another good video..

Thanks Donnie. I was just watching your Rendezvous in the Ozarcs vid - love your 'new' trailer! Very posh. Thanks for the annealing info, and for the Z tool decode. So interesting

We are loving the new "to us" trailer. Hope to have a walk around video of the trailer soon. Just need the weather to cooperate. 😊

Nice haul. My first time to Hershey I brought home a bunch of crap but at least you can use these items, or sell the surplus. hope you enjoyed yourself there.

It was really fun just to wonder and gaze at all the shiny brass and brown rust! Thanks for watching.

Awesome episode as usual Steven. My only criticism is this.... following the lead of that shed guy will surely lead to your destruction. All the best buddy.

I believe I learned somthing that kingston carb looks like a forerunner to the marvel schrebler used on 2n tractors.

One needs a week to look around Hershey's Swap meet effectively. I went the first time in 2021 for three days. It was extensive with all that was there. But I heard from a vendor, that past years before covid, it was much much more. I think the AACA swap is much more interesting. Neat items you found, and I didn't realize the spark plugs back then were rebuildable.

I'd like to find some of the pre-20s ones that are COMPLETELY rebuildable sometime. Those look intriguing. Thanks for watching!

I have a friend who is a leather worker. He is a genius with leather. I bet if you gave him detailed measurements, he could make the straps for you

There were some really good prices but unfortunately they were offset by the low Canadian dollar exchange rate.
