Hey Rory. I've written this in a previous comment but I'll write it again: You are awesome on camera. So honest. So personable. So open. And so positive. You are an amazing ambassador for the sport through these videos. As well, Puma should be very proud to have you on their team. You do a great job of highlighting their brand and products - but you do it with integrity and sincerity. And if you're wondering: Yes...people are watching. Keep up all the great work. Keep the videos coming. Show us what you can do! Rob. PS: It was great to meet your family.

Verse the two choices of shoes - 5cm per stride x 180SPM = 9 meters a minute, 540m a hour, 1,080m over two hours and 1,152m over a 2:08 marathon. At 2:08 pace that's roughly 3:30 in propulsion forward or 2.75%
@LinkletterRory11 ай бұрын
Yeah, if that was the only factor measured, more numbers in the calculation that I didn’t share, like the other shoe I had a higher cadence so that would negate some of that stride length advantage.

Congrats! Thanks for sharing your shoe test and running economy tests, very interesting. Next time visit Valencia, should be just as fast as Seville. You against old BYU teammates in the olympics? Going to be fun to witness Rory! I remember that workout video with music hearing Ed motivating you guys, Clayton and Connor etc. Funny thing is that I found you three guys having a special running form and now you are olympians! You with your hands and arms. Clayton totally laid back posture. Connor with his legs inwards in someway always looking like he's grinding and fighting for his life in his facial expression. Keep on grinding Rory!

Rory, amazing accomplishment. I know you are in the heart of competing but the most important thing is to appreciate the experiences you will have with your family. I was able to qualify for Kona at 50 and brought my family with me to share in the experience. Memories will last a life time regardless of the result. As a father, no matter what the outcome please make sure to appreciate every experience you have with your family. Enjoy the ride, but appreciate all of the experiences!!!!! Good Luck!!!
