Tony, I could truly sense your frustration and despair. BUT, there was NEVER any doubt in my mind that you would ever “ throw in the towel” on this build. “ Give up” and “quit” are foreign words to you. We all know how exceptional your work ethic is and that is why you are an inspiration to so many. Your first trip with Meatball didn’t go as planned but you did gain a deeper and better understanding of how the monitors etc. in the RV worked. Definitely a positive 👍🏻 Installing security cameras for safety 👍🏻 I couldn’t have imagined a more heartwarming ending to this video, Tony. A successful “overnighter” at the beach, experiencing a breathtaking sunrise together, and watching dear Meatball enjoying a morning run across the sand…..life is good! 🤗❤️❤️😘🐶

So glad you figured it out. Loved seeing Meatball run on the ⛱️. You were in my part of FL. I just love driving on New Smyrna Beach. Top down loving life. It's so beautiful. Looking forward to seeing your next adventure. When I was younger, my parents had several motorhomes. Our first trip left us shivering in the middle of an empty parking lot during a PA snow storm with no heat. Good memories now. 😎

Seeing your journey with the box truck build was very inspiring. I want to build out a 10ft uhaul box truck, but I'm having second thoughts due to reliability concerns. Has that 10ft gmc given you any engine or transmission problems? I would like to buy one and use it as a daily driver while converting it.

I chose what I could afford, and yet it is an older truck. the good news is.. when uhaul retires their fleet it comes with a grade. Mine was a C+. older trucks can be less complicated to fix if so. Mine is just a flip. one day if I do it again it will be on a newer truck with a lot of life in it.

Zero problems - besides brake pads, new tire and a sensor needs to be changed out
