Tony you with your first baby was like me. I had a toy 8 lb poodle named Gus. I love him so much when he passed at 18 years and 3 months it tore me up. I missed those little feet tapping on the floor and cuddle with little Gus so much. Within six weeks here I go to the Wake Co. SPCA looking for a small dog and the first dog was a 7 lb. Chihauhau named Abby. The told me she had a tumor removed and it may come back. I cradled Abby up and she lived 5 years with small tumors popping up the last 2 years. Surgeries a couple of times and the cancer in the end was all inside of her. The sweetest baby in the world. I want another but can't find one at the SPCA. I know how much you love your adorable handsome Meatball. I've loved that sweet baby with that beautiful face from the first time seeing him.
