One more thing, I too have reflux/GERD and burning in my chest, and I have cardiac/pulmonary issues. So PPI’s or proton pump inhibitors like Prilosec for me are a NO GO. Absolutely they can weaken your bones over time, but I’ve also learned that they reduce absorption of vitamins like C and B12, but more importantly for me, they reduce nitric oxide in our bodies-something that is very protective of our vascular lining and function. So, when needed I’m allowed to take Pepcid AC or Zantac. Maybe that will help you as well. 💕

Miss Tammy - I had actual physical side effects from taking PPI’s for my ulcer. Very severe joint pain. My doctor insisted it wasn’t from them, but once off, pain gone. Glad your weaning off and thanks for all you do.

I get Cosequin from Chewy on auto ship. I also have their dog treats and food delivered from Chewy. That stuff is heavy to schlep from the grocery store. If the box is too heavy to bring in the house, I just open it on the front porch and then take out what I can easily lift to bring in the house for storage.

Tammy I suffered with fatty liver, inflammation, fibromyalgia, arthritis and massive gut issues. I finally found a great naturopath that did a simple blood food allergy test. Turns out I am massively allergic to Whey… Dairy!😮 I’ve been one month off all dairy my life is changed I’m not kidding .. life change! Please get that simple food allergy blood test and don’t overload liver with supplements like I did and save your money for things you to not need to take. I pray you find a good Dr like I did .. well worth it .. wish I had known earlier but early 60’s I can now live with no stomach pain. I’ve also lost bloat and inflammation. I have a ways to go but wow! I needed to share. ❤

We are taking our puppy to training classes and the salmon treats you showed are what we are using. It was the only treats that really got him to pay attention. The trainer recommended them because they are only freeze dried salmon, nothing else. Our cat even loves them. We just make sure that they aren't eating too many due to the fat. I love cashew butter❤ I will check out your butter recommendations. I also can't can't consume Sucralose and the other sugar alcohols. I love your suggestions❤❤❤

Tammy.. such a great and informative video! I’ve been using your old protein powder suggestion..but was not a fan of the sweetener in it.. I prefer monk or Stevia…so I was so excited to see your new recommendation. Searching had been a pain! I ordered the sample pack and excited to try. Also the chocolate collagen was on my Costco list forever…happy it is finally in stock and I’m heading over to buy. I bought 8 of the unflavored at the last sale..I use that in my coffee in the morning..LOVE that product. Happy to see you added the K2 to your regimen. So important for osteoporosis and getting calcium and nutrients to the bone! I found out I had it a year ago and got the books on K2…also took out most caffeine. I have no added sugar, no highly processed foods or alcohol. I, like you, fixate on protein and fiber. ..and exercise. I have never felt this good-best I’ve felt in many years. Thanks Tammy! Oh my goodness, everything you were saying there so many things that you and I have in common. I think we talked about this before. I am getting another hydrogen breath test in December for SIBO. I have been trying to wean off of the Nexium. I’m working with my U of M Gastro doctor and he put me on one Nexium one Pepcid then he had to change it to one Nexium one Prevacid per day I too have osteoporosis because of 20 years of a double Nexium a day.😩 Unfortunately, I can’t not tolerate any artificial sweeteners. It’s like eating a bag of prunes for me lol and I just don’t like the taste of Stevia. I’ve tried and tried to make myself like it. It taste very bitter in my mouth for some reason. I’m just a fat hot mess .😵😏. I accidentally bought the chocolate vital proteins once, and I gave it to my friend. And I love chocolate, but I just can’t do the Stevia. I am going to check out the supplements you recommend, though I have a cabinet full of things people have suggested, and I just keep trying. I want to do better.

I don't like to miss one, and your empties are always so informative! I have two questions if you see this. The first being, If you find yourself with the time, maybe after the Holidays, would you mind sharing the recipe for your date bars? They looked AWESOME! But my BIG question for you is: Have you found a favorite Vanilla Protein Powder? I Can do chocolate, but I'm a Vanilla girl, and I have yet to find one that I'm truly happy with. I'm going to try the Clean Simple Eats brand you suggested, but I doubt I'll be a fan of the Cake Batter Flavor, as I could never even stomach the ice cream of said flavor.
