Those street parking signs usually mean you can't parkup at those specific times. Areas do it to stop people parking all day, by making a one hour restriction. It's pretty common. Ask a traffic warden, but that's how it works in every sign like that I've seen.
@Nomadickangoo2 жыл бұрын
So it's ok not to have a permit after 12 30pm?
@hughjasse33752 жыл бұрын
@@Nomadickangoo check with a traffic warden, but I go to an area for work now and again that has those same signs everywhere, saying residents permit only, 11-12pm. So as long as I am not there at that hour from 11am - midday, I don't get tickets. I am there in the evening, gone by 9am, haven't had a ticket in two years.

Great video. I've been in my 2005 Berlingo - basically the same as yours but without the side door - since Feb 2018. Living mostly in Falmouth and also Isle of Wight. Loving it! Love the small van. Looking forward top following your adventures!
@Nomadickangoo2 жыл бұрын
How do you find living in it?
@stevejoneswildwriter2 жыл бұрын
@@Nomadickangoo It's a bit cramped! But the bed is incredibly comfortable - lifted up on a wooden frame like yours. I've bodged the rest, so just a shelf along on the driver's side in the back with a gas stove, and clothes strewn about! I sleep like a log in it. This winter's been very kind so far, with just one frost in Falmouth that I've been aware of. The stove warms the van up faster than the kettle can boil first thing! I then head to a cafe to write (as I am now, in Costa!). I think being on the coast helps - I'd never survive being inland.

Always interesting seeing how other vanlifers go about working, I’ll be doing the same again next week with a move of 170 miles but it’s just a drive, like you there’s no house to move, I do know the area but will still have to find extra park ups so I’m not in the same places all the time
