Also, youtube really pushed out that sidewalk video, good numbers of views on that !! Great to see you back and I'm glad all is well. I missed the content and the signature music !

Oh wow, I'm glad that you caught up on the videos. I've been wondering where you went. It's crazy how sometimes you are notified and other times you aren't. Hopefully I can get on more of a schedule this Fall so you'll know more vids are coming. Thanks again for taking time to watch. I appreciate the continued support. The sidewalk video was a fun one! Definitely got a little traction on that one for sure. More vids coming...

Try? Putting your low foot on the up hill side of your high foot and use all your weight on the high side? Nice job, very informative, great visual. This is not a joke! Unless you like getting hurt, DONT try this at home.
@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri4 ай бұрын

I worked for a comercial mowing company and saw a 52" Scagg walk-behind get flipped on a hill. Nearly destroyed it and they had to replace some parts to get her back in shape. They always started at the top of the hill and worked their way down, instead of working upwards. That way they were pointing downwards when making the turns and not upwards, which can be dangerous.
@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri4 ай бұрын
Anytime you point the nose down, there’s a huge risk that you will lose control. On a stander, you’re safest option is to start at the bottom and work your way up. If you ever point the nose down on a steep hill like this, it’s game over. Hopefully the person running the Scag walk behind was safe. 🙏 Appreciate you watching!

Two suitcase weights on the front end might have done the trick also knobbly tires maybe.
@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri4 ай бұрын
For sure. They make a weight kit for the front. You think it would have helped out on this hill???
@trevorburton27184 ай бұрын
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri Maybe but you were at the mowers limit. I think the club cadet with dual wheels and steering wheel might have done better. I have a toro timecutter sit down zero turn as well as my ventrac. I can lift the front of the toro mower up with one hand. It's a design that could improved with a weight rack on the front for steep slopes.
@greenwoodsbushhogging67044 ай бұрын
Do stanups handle side hills as good as an actual zero turn? Judging from your lean, I'd say it's a tick less than the pucker factor on a zero turn. I've got zero experience with stand ups except playing with my buddies in the road.
@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri4 ай бұрын
A stander is typically going to do much better on a hillside. And it is much much safer mowing a steep hill. If things go south, you can just step off and let it go.
@greenwoodsbushhogging67044 ай бұрын
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri interesting. I got out of the lawn care world way before anything cool came out. Now I just have a few big zero turns for final cutting overgrown yards when I'm asked to.

Not a bad idea! They make a weight kit for it. I wonder if it would help with the hills?
@404nitro4 ай бұрын
It didn't do too bad for how steep that is. Is this machine actually yours, or just one they are allowing you to demo for the season?If it is yours, better tire will help with the sliding on the steep stuff. IME with several machines now, the Turf Masters suck at side hill mowing and for most other turf use to be blunt. I run AT101's on my mowers and they are vastly superior to any standard tread turf tire in any condition.
@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri4 ай бұрын
I’m just putting it to the test this season. It would be sweet if it had wider tires on it. But I’m still impressed with what it could tackle. 🤯
