This is a great idea to keep you motivated and remind you of what you THOUGHT would be your thing and turned out not to be. A little self reflection moment

i know you're excited about new releases and i hope you get around to more of them for yourself, but i also really appreciate that your content isn't all new releases. The new releases are everywhere on other channels, but i come to you for some hidden/overlooked gems

Would love to see a wayward children 24 hour readathon! It might actually encourage me to pick up the rest of the series

30 new releases in 6 months is a very ambitious number anyways imo, especially with your other goals (finishing series, narrowing down physical tbr, etc)

At some point you should make a video reacting to your 2021 anticipated releases again to see if you’ve made any more progress since

You should do a video where you watch all of your old tbrs but only up until you see a book you haven’t read and still own😂 then you have to stop the video and start another until you make it through one entire video… I’m curious to see if you can watch an entire tbr video without running into one.

There’s so many books out there and what we want to read changes constantly with what comes out. The first hurdle is actually getting the books which you’ve done really well doing. I think you need to give yourself another year to actually read them though because there’s a lot going on, so that’s at least two years to read them. If you haven’t read them in two years then you have a problem 😂

Portrait of a Thief was.... fine. It sounded like it wanted to be Killmonger in Black Panther, but it was absolutely neutered and bland. (And all the characters feel exactly the same, there's no difference in voice)

I'm a big series reader. So when the next installment comes out in a series that I love I read it right away, and then I'm like (insert author's name)- write faster. I need the next 📙. 🤣 I'm also an author completionist. (Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs, Suzanne Wright, Hailey Edwards, Robert B Parker, Robert Crais, Anne Bishop, Agatha Christie, Edgar Allen Poe, etc) I read adult books only though other than Uncle Rick. I'm a genre reader too- urban fantasy, paranormal, mystery, sci-fi fantasy, smattering of historical romance and dark romance, in which I'm Very particular about the author selection here. 🧐 Lisa Kleypas, Eliza Braden, Eloisa James, Kerrigan Brynne-historical romance. Pam Godwin, Sam Mariano, Gianna Darling, Adelaide Forrest, Kenya Wright- dark romance😉 That being said I don't tend to make time for the "must reads" that are the darlings of TikTok and popular book clubs, like Reese or Oprah. If I'm still hearing that they're great a few years after they're no longer the "it" thing then I might pick it up if it appeals to me. 🤷‍♀️

okay so it's not romantic but it IS grump/sunshine (and the sunshine is a wonderful himbo to boot)... Lightfall: the Girl & the Galdurian!! It's a graphic novel and I read it this weekend and can't stop proselytizing it. Gorgeous art, super heart-warming, animal companion... you should check it out :)
