See, now I appreciate you even more! Thanks for being honest, and as your other commenter said 'keeping it real'. All the critics can make people weary. Like, oh great, now I've been reading the WRONG translation. I really enjoy many different Bibles for each of their different reasons. Have a blessed day!

Sweet! I love the bsb too, especially because of their open source approach. And I like using Linux too. Today I'm praying that the church will wake up. Torben sondergaard was just arrested for preaching the gospel, doing healing and deliverance in the US....

Late to the game here, but you said much that resonates with me. You also brought up the very passages (Heb. 2:6 & Ps. 8:4) that the NIV11 (and others [CSB, NLT...] to varying degrees) utterly butchered by neutering them. They turned a solid line to Christ in these passages into a dotted line at best, and had no good reason to do so other other than to consistently be gender inclusive no matter what. The build up to Christ's supremacy over all in Hebrews had the wind taken out of its sails by the gender accommodation. Anyway, I'm enjoying the NAS20 even though I've been an ESV Yoda kinda guy since 2006.

Stop the insanity!!!! Seriously it's all God's Word. Except maybe for the Message translation. That one is a bit shady in my humble opinion. Then again that is just my opinion.
