First off Big Fan of the Debate Shows, Keep 'em coming consistently *Thumbs Up* Firstly i have no idea why people complain about fan voted awards, The Ama's and the MOBO's in the UK are voted for by the Fans! all the award show do is give us nominations and if you don't vote then how can you complain at the outcome, I'm a big fan of Eminem and Drake but i didn't vote so let Iggy win because her fans actually did. Secondly i think the reason people don't like Iggy winning in Hip Hop is because she's not even targeting her music towards hip hop fans! her target audience is not the four men debating in a room about hip hop; its some 11-18 yr old girls who will buy her music and Vote for her to win the AMA's on Twitter. Thats the difference when you compare her with Rae Sremmurd and Young Thug, the people who listen to them actually listen to Hip Hop, but the people that listen to Iggy are fans of Arriana Grande and One Direction who also killed at the AMAs coincidentally

Vine is the the reason why some of these trap songs go viral. Viners will use a clip of the song in one of their videos and then all their followers will go find the song on KZbin. That's why Bobby Schmurda Hot Nigga, OG Maco U Guessed It, and I'm In Love with the Coco get a ton of views on KZbin. It's not so much that people like the song but people checking to see where the song came from on Vine. I don't know if Vine is in the UK but it's pretty popular in the US.

I think the biggest issue with Iggy Azalea's is that she is a product or a pawn of the music industry. She raps with a fake Southern American accent when she's from Australia, pretending to be something she's not as if she's acting or putting on a front. It's like she's a caricature or a stereotype of what is often associated with blacks.

I agree 100% with the white dude. If you listen to Young Thug and Rae Sremmurd, then it seems you would like Iggy Azalea. But personally I can tolerate Rae and even Young Thug to an extent. But I can't stand the Coco song. And I can only tolerate "Fancy" from Iggy. I wouldn't purchase any music from any of them tho.

I believe Drake should have won it, comparing Iggy's album to his album I believe he beat her easily and the fact this guy always releasing songs even after his album like Days in the east, Trophies, 2 on, 6 god and many other songs should count he is working harder than most of the rappers out there, now I know she won only because it is a voting system and of course people will vote for her since they just want to dance to whatever catchy beat shit not caring about the lyrics and all, she will win the grammy also she is white and it's not wrong in any way but like you guys said its the community problem

I think Snips is being a hypocrite on his views and explanation on why he don't rate Iggy and O.T., and that kind of 'rap' etc when he plays in the club and supports artists like Fekky who in my opinion, is not lyrical at all, and is known for his 'Hype Ad libs', and mostly chats about what O.T.Bobby, and them man usually talk about. I don't agree she should of won that award in my opinion, but maybe the AMA's criteria for wining that award is different from the Grammy' and BET's criteria. So maybe she ticked more boxes than the other nominees to win that award.

My thoughts: I can't make a judgement based on Iggy Azaleas validity for winning a Rap/Hip Hop artist award because I couldn't even name a song she has done. As I understand it (correct me if im wrong) the AMA's gets its votes from the people right? Not like the Oscars where a small panel of judges decides. On that alone, YES she deserved it. The category was Rap/Hip Hop. I believe she raps right? Then she is eligable to be counted in that catergory. If it was Justin Beiber winning that award, then fine, the guy is a singer, not a rapper, and therefore has no place being included in that category. This is what happens when people don't vote. Iggy wins Rap awards. UKIP get seats. NAZIs get power. Just playing, but seriously, her winning does not mean that that is what HIP Hop is. I'm a grown man. I don't even watch award shows, let alone vote for things like that. But 13 year old girls do. We all can sit at our computers, romanticising the genre into a "real Hip Hop is X,Y or Z", but in reality Hip Hop is whatever sells. Always has been. "But what about X rapper or Y rapper... they don't sell... they are more real than Z rapper" Of course. We all bop our heads to the socio-political Rapper. Throw down a few emojis and say "real talk" as a term of appreciation. But these so called obscure rappers, everyone has heard of them! People do listen to them and they do make money as well.
