One of the internet's big root certificates, IdenTrust DST Root CA X3, expired on 30th September 2021. If you're running an old version of Mac OS X on your iMac, Mac Mini, Mac Pro or MacBook, you may have found that a LOT of websites no longer work.
Here's how to fix it.

Not mentioned in the video: Firefox apparently has its own stash of root certificates. If Chrome or Safari won't let you access the Let's Encrypt website, but you have Firefox, try using/installing/updating that, then accessing the site that way.
