nah mate, there was no passive aggressiveness in that message at all, you're completely fine. maybe the bosses just appreciate your thoroughness or the fact that it took you longer might make it seem you were hard at work. if my boss said thanks i'd just take it at face value, otherwise you just start overthinking it, and unless anything more is said there is no reason to worry

Maybe you could have followed the message up with a joke about you being slow. Like maybe, “paint was drying faster than I was cleaning”. That way, it’s clear it’s a joke about you instead of the others.
