Allen this year would've won MVP in 2023. Allen 2023 was 5th in voting in 2023 because it was possibly the worst year of his career. Stats-wise and quite literally every way, Lamar is better this year. But Allen WILL be QB1 multiple times by the time it's all said and done. Right now, he's QB2.

For fantasy football, it counts twice, but in actual football, it only counts once. It would be like in the NBA a shot falling all net and the net catches it and flips it out of the rim and back into the air, only for it to fall down once again all net… wouldn’t count as a 4 (or 6) point play. But I digress. That’s where they’re getting the extra “touchdown” from for Allen. EDIT: I’d also argue that the 49ers stopped his receivers forward progress prior to the receiver pitching it back to Allen.

KC and Detroit are 21-1 against everyone else, 0-2 against Allen. @ Bills came into that game as if it were any other game. Baltimore was desperate and brought the juice defensively as well. Henry ripped off a 90 yard TD run to start the game and finished with nearly 200 yards. Lamar got the Bills back into the game with a fumble and Allen had the play of the game with an insane throw down the field while running near the sideline that led to a TD. In fact the Ravens were reeling until Joe Brady made his worst call as OC of the Bills with a horrendous trick play that resulted in a turnover. Lamar almost undid an incredible performance by Henry that game with his careless fumble. Henry had the best night, followed by Allen who willed his team back into the game in the 3rd quarter. After the trick play, the Ravens were able to close it out and run up the score, but the game was closer for most of the contest than the final score indicates. I would expect a very different game in a playoff atmosphere.
