Don really got upset when he walked off & the interviewer pulled him back to save her career or embarrassment. Don & Mark already discussed for Mark to say "we're all gonna die" to make it look like they were joking but they both realized it was too late so Don then admitted defeat & say "we're all gonna die was a real spoiler" Don is responsible for both himself & Mark. Don was happy to get out of there & Mark was being a little sarcastic to Don because he knew he was pissed or bugged at Mark. Mark grabbed his own neck when he walked off as if he was getting pulled off stage by Don.

Since he keep repeating the spoiler jokes of everybody dies, it is possible, as a reverse effect, like if non of them gives spoiler its gonna be predictable, so he just basically tells the truth, i mean thanos got the infinity stones, and MCU doesnt get its full power yet (fox), so yeah, with everybody dies, maybe dr strange rewind the time, letting thanos as the strongest enemy, progressing the story entirely and once again a final battle with thanos in a bigger character pool

Here's my theory. Since in Spider-Man Homecoming, the timeline is all screwed up because it says it's 8 years later but that would place things much later than they really are. SO, in the next avengers film, at one point or another everyone dies and Dr Strange has to use the Eye of Agamotto to reverse time and stop everyone from dying but somehow he screws up the timeline, which explains the whole "8 years later" fiasco
