I have the medium tote bag similar to what Meghan Markle has. Quality and structure wise its amazing but the only gripe I have is, it's a bit of a struggle to open the bag. To open, you have to unloop the metal strap from the handle and it's a hassle when the bag is on the crook of your arm or hand. I have to wear it cross body or shoulder for easy opening. One thing I can say though, the magnet on the bag is STRONG! 😀

I have another strath berry and the quality is pretty great. There are some minute details about the length and wear which could be improved but I was glad to find a brand that gives quality and value for money instead of charging absurd amounts for fake status I could not care to have. It’s definitely a godsend for people in the market for bags and not the other trimmings

Quick customer service is mostly limited to chat. Very very quick to respond while you're still in the purchasing phase. But once order is placed and you're having issues the chat won't help anymore. They will direct you to their email which takes forever to respond. My order was missing a dustbag. I asked via chat and they confirmed that the model I mentioned comes with dustbag. They were quick to respond because they thought I was just inquiring for a new purchase. When I finally said my order was missing its dustbag, they diverted me to email. The email never responded. I didn't use the bag yet just incase I need to return or get a replacement. While waiting for resolution I started noticing issues with the quality--- there were visible excess glue on the front and on one side thats very noticeable. I emailed them about it, but no reply. My 1 month deadline was coming to close so I finally gave up and said I will just return. This time they responded and said they will accept the return, I just need to fill out the form and pay for return shipping. I'm like why??? I'm not returning because I changed my mind. I'm returning because my order had issues and nobody has been responding to my emails. It was my first order and never again. That Lottie bag is still in the box. It's beautiful despite some issues but I'm hating it because of their customer service ugh.

As for which brands which might be interesting for you to review, I'd like to recommend you "The Bridge". It's an italian leather goods brand which uses tuscan full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather. I have been using their bags for quite some time and the leather gets more beautiful and interesting to look at with every year.

I purchased a small Strathberry a couple of years ago as a treat to myself. I was blown away when it arrived and could not believe the price I got it for. It was absolutely pristine and due to its more affordable price tag and great wearability, I use it more than my designer items. The only reason I have not purchased additional items from their collection is due to the very recognizable hardware design that they use with the gold bar. It is distinctive enough that I feel like I'd just turn into "the Strathberry lady" if I had more than one. But I would love to get their Safari bag.

I would love to see a Mulberry bag such as the small Darley och the Lily. I think most of them aren't even made in England anymore. Also Susan Szatmary mini palais, Little Liffner tulip bag and Toteme the T-lock clutch. They are Swedish quiet luxury brands that make their bags in Italy

So I'm not impressed by Strathberry. I just received the mini Crescent 👛 on sale. My initial thoughts is that they should is added more glazing on the corners and the leather is somewhat dry. While I don't hate the 👛 or want to return I'm not sure if i would purchase another 👛 from them. For them to want $795 is crazy it's with the $475 i paid for it on sale. I feel Mansur Gavriel and APC are much better quality.

$400-500 is still expensive for a handbag. I think luxury prices distort our perceptions sometimes because the bag you’re dissecting is luxurious and the price reflects the quality. Truly, luxury bags are worth the same amount. We’re just paying a premium for the name and prestige that comes with it. $500 is a lot of money for a handbag. We need to normalize that fact and it would help us appreciate these brands delivering exceptional quality and craftsmanship at fair prices. Thanks for sharing and making these informative videos.

I start to wonder if these brands invent this look and maybe own the design? That would make more sense. Idk maybe we're still paying for the designs, which is viewed as the authentic one because they invented it? It seems it's difficult to invent new bag designs nowadays and are mostly now copying each other? It seems they no longer need to sue? Or can they sue? If someone create a new unique bag design, and some other brand copy it, do they get sued, do they own the design 70 years after death, enough to dominate if they're the only ones to offer it

Bags under $1k are not expensive especially when you consider animals die for these bags to be made. I think you're a little cheap to think $500 and under is expensive for a well made leather bag. That's why bags under $1k are affordable luxury.
