Thank you so much for making this video!! Had I watched it a bit earlier, I would have known how to react when my water broke. It was exactly as you described it here but i mistook it for something else and also ignored the contractions. I was 38 weeks along and was expecting this to happen at least around the end of my 39th week. I started to have greenish discharge and got worried , luckily my sister is a nurse and she took me to the hospital immediately and i had to deliver my baby on emergency CS. Thank God! my beautiful baby girl and I are doing very well, no complications or anything. The experience has now opened my eyes and taught me lessons for the future.

I’m looking at this video because at 3:54 am I’m not sure if I did pee or was my water . I’m 38 weeks today . I had gotten my cervix checked today afternoon to see if I was further along been at the hospital 2 times for labor already 5cm dilated 80% effaced . 🤞🏻I’m ready for my baby girl . 💕 Update : It was definitely my water I waited till 8 am to leave my house once I got to the hospital the contractions picked up xc ! Those hurt ! A lot, I did get the epidural. Tho I don’t know why when I got it it made my left leg hurt so much. It was definitely weird and I had problems with the epidural because it didn’t want to numb my right leg. There was a point I believe it had numb both my legs after rotating on each side to do so and when i informed the midwife that I felt her lower I knew it was time to have her. My first push didn’t hurt but once her head was starting to come out it hurt ! I felt it xc I literally cried her out but after all that luckily she came out great 6 pounds 12 oz 21 inches. ❤️💕 ^~^ 🥰

Congratulations! It made me laugh/tear up when you said when her head came out it hurt.I have watch a lot of delivery videos and they always scream then the baby is out and it such a moment like it always brings tears to my eyes...but I’m gonna be in labor in the next 12-24 hrs so it will be my turn to scream and be hold my baby and I’m so scared but I’m so excited but really scared Lol. Congratulations

So, when my waters broke with my second, it was like a rubber band snapped inside me and a massive gush that pooled on the bed 😂 then with every contraction, ever 1-2 minutes after until around 3 hours later, I got a huge pour of water everytime being forced with each contraction 😂 I still have no idea how I had that much fluid within my body!!!! Mine had a slight green tinge and no smell. Maconium was for sure present and we went straight to hospital to have monitoring during labour ❤️

I am 40w4d today and only 3cm dilated. Tried everything to induce labor naturally. It seems my body is not ready yet. My OBG will induce me on Thursday if I don’t have contractions or dilated more before Wednesday. Scared to be induce 😭

Hi Kat. There could be many reasons why your medical team is pushing for c-section - if it is not an emergency (you and/or baby are in immediate danger and there is no time to lose), then I recommend that you ask to labor naturally for as long as you can safely. Don’t be afraid to question your medical team, ask for reasons and alternative options. You have to give consent for c-section, so make sure you have all the information and understand their reasoning before you go with surgery over natural birth. Best wishes!

@@mckenzieannabelle this is my third pregnancy, in my city they don't have enough staff to monitor me if i did do natural. They fear my csection ripping and me bleeding out. Which is understandable. I've had breech babies the last two times. So planned csections, is what is offered locally without driving 2 hours to the hospital in a state over. So I'm guessing if my water broke they'd life flight me Or they would proceed to an earlier csection? I'm 38 weeks and I'm due the 8th so 5 more days. Just was curious if you had an idea of what they would do. It's best i just call and ask. ☺
