Did Not Meet Expectations | Elvis Review

In this Elvis movie review, I give my very brief and honest opinion on the biopic, Elvis 2022. The movie stars Austin Butler, who plays the king of rock and roll, Elvis, and Tom Hanks, who plays Elvis' manager, Colonel Tom Parker. In short, this Elvis biopic did not meet expectations, and certainly among the worst biopic movies, but any who, here is my Elvis review.

I really liked the Elvis movie but didn't like how angry they made Elvis appear in it cause Elvis really wasn't like that. Elvis had a great sense of humor and loved a good laugh. I also thought that Austin did a great job playing Elvis with the script he had. I told everyone he would win a Golden Globe Award for his preformance. I still can't believe that Lisa Marie is gone but I am happy that she got to see Austin win. R.i.p. with your Dad and Son Lisa Marie.

I've heard a lot of Elvis fans are disappointed with how he was depicted, but it is a film. Details will always be changed. Austin Butler should be nominated for an Academy Award.

Has been nominated for: Best pic, Butler , actor Cinematography Production design, built Graceland, Costumes, were spot o Should win every award !!

We loved the movie , You don’t know enough about Elvis and his family and his life and music to enjoy this movie. We thought it was Great and the actor Austin should get many awards for doing this movie with Tom Hanks. Tom Hanks was ok in the movie but Austin who acted like Elvis was the best. I saw this movie 3 times and even bought it that’s how Great it was to show my friends and family who hasn’t seen it yet.😊

This guyknows nothing abt Elvis..especially the fact where he died, in bathroom , found by Ginger, but that didn't need be put in Austin does a fantastic job, transforming from early E. to mature performer, & has E mannerisms, moves down pat. May not have looked like early E,( in some angles looked more like J Travolta) I liked didn t dwell on his drug abuse, .. when tellsCol u. FIRED! that was Oscar worthy! Col was portrayed exactly as was, a greedy sob, took 50% gambled away . Overbooked concerts, " all that matters that man be on stage" & Dr Nick also aided supplying "cocktail" of drugs. To all those saying E could've shouldve stopped th drugs/ pills, no he couldn't, , had contracts to fill & was only way he could cope . Austin did most singing early E, but later performances, Vegas, concert footage, his & E. voice were interchanged,. so sounded like E . The end , Unchained Melody, definetly E, hitting that hi note !

Knowing about a person doesn't necessarily make a biopic more enjoyable. At the end of the day, it's still a movie.

@@reelthought3867 I understand , I wouldn't be interested in any of today's stars. or. singers, rappers, know nothing abt . As I am from that 50s era, .a Big E fan, it took me back & some one not knowing E story wouldn't understand.,what going on The scene where E is handed pills, not mentioned is touring with J Cash, Jerry Lee, Carl Perkins. ( Cash & Lee were well known alcoholics, coke addicted, & E starts popping pills back then ) There are events I remember, & where I was, JFK asasin, M King, & Robert K . E was inducted into army my 18thbday. Graduated school yr E returned from. army, lived close to Fort Dix, NJ, was a snowy DA I can put myself to places where certain events occurred . Every one has different tastes, I ha no interest in most today's films, & no idea what other nominated films are abt so don't care to see. Exception Top Gun Elvis also nominated Film editing Makeup & hair Sound

@@Memow-pk1ng Not a matter of interest in the man, and more of an interest in the storytelling within a film. I love history, but I hated the Alexander film, my favorite historical figure.
