Did Pokemon GO Actually Compensate Me with a Shiny Shadow Suicune After This Major Issue?

As the Go Battle Weekend starts with the new Rival Week 2024 event too, I encountered a huge issue with my GBL reward. This issue cause me to not only be able to claim my reward, but also to not continue to battle in the Go Battle League anymore. As such, I decided to play the other aspect of the event, and to my surprise, I got a reward from the first Shadow Suicune raid.

It would be ideal and easy fix if they can change the "battle in Go battle league" to "any league" so players (there are quite a few) who are encountering this bug for any reason. Can still complete it by opting to PvP battle with a friend using manual PvP request or in person PvP code. There doesn't seem to be anyway to bypass it for now even with costumer support. (one player had manage to resolve it because CS clear the quest for him/her but that's case by case and not time efficient). Change it to "Battle in any league X times" would be better IMO.

Hello! I'm new to the game, where should I go to raid in SG? tried doing shadow suicune the last two weeks around my area, but no one seems to be doing it, are there more active raids down town?

Hey Brandon, my brother and I were able to beat it. So it's Duo(able) we had level 40 and up Pokemon. As long as you create a party and use the party boost it's doable.

My glitch from 1st timezone region, did 17 excellent throw n still miss catching Suicune. Happened twice.

Shadow Suicune is actually an easy duo. Use electric mons and one has to have a Proto Kyogre in the back + team boost. Doesn't even matter what move Suicune has.

Make the suggestion to change the research task from "battle in Go Battle league" to "battle in any league" (complete it from friend PvP) =( Bad timing for this to happen during x4 stardust

Niantic support are crap, I did the shadow Mewtwo raid and it crashed after completion which meant I wasn't able to get mew, message support and all they did was give me a raid pass and then it did the same for the registeel raid and they said we have already reimbursed you when they hadn't.

Every raid I see that's a shadow 5* in the last month within 25 min I've texted the campfire lit a flame and showed up there hoping and waiting for just two other ppl to beat any of the 3 shadow 5*'s that been out. It pisses me off so bad I just watch them dissapear bc I don't have no one here that plays man it's annoying and that's why I delete the game every damn year.

I deal with this too. I've also quit (for years) for this reason. When I came back in September, I was able to locate the local community via Facebook. Maybe try that?? All you really need is a handful of people to raid with. They're out there, you just gotta find them! Don't know if your town does this, but here, people decorate rocks and place them all over town. My cousin painted some rocks, put her trainer handle on them, and placed them around Pokestops. She got a bunch of friends that way. Later, they became raid buddies for she and I. It's weird but it works!
