Are any of your selling on Teepublic? What is your opinion of the new changes?

I think it's annoying that now I will make 4$ instead of 8$ for selling my hoodies (artisan tier) But to be honest? it's their house, their rules, and we agreed to these rules (plus the rules changing in the future) when we started selling there.

@@MeyTribe Thanks for stopping by my channel!! I agree with your thoughts. For me, it's more a question if I want to invest my time in the future uploading/promoting for the diminishing returns.

I've been on Teepublick for 3 years now, never promoted my products, I have a few designs there and I kept my store neat and clean. I am in the Artisian tear. I mean to be completely honest I don't really know how to promote Teepublic items, they don't have specific links except me going to the browser and copying that link to put it into Pinterest and it didn't want to accept the link a couple of times. For the past year, I was more focused on Zazzle, Amazon KDP, my own store, my blog, and my YT channel to be honest. But I do agree with what these sites are doing to some extent, there is soo much junk on them that never sells and bad designs that sometimes I don't even want to post there anymore. What I've been doing for the past 3 months is going into these accounts and deleting the old designs that have no views or no sales in the past year to make space for new ones. And I pay more attention to what designs I post and for what purpose (for who).

I was just thinking of doing something similar with my Redbubble store - going through and just pairing it down to best sellers or at least trying to make it look more cohesive.

I'm new and just looking to get into print on demand. Thanks for your immediate video reviews! They really help a lot to understand what's going on (sorry, I used google translate)

What is your suggestion on Platforms to use, now that RedBubble, and Teepublic are not viable anymore
@lifeexpanded Жыл бұрын
I've had my best luck with Spoonflower. I think it depends on what kind of art you are making and who your audience is. Any of the platforms could be profitable if you have the right niche/audience, it is just getting much tougher

I'm wondering if they are doing this because they are seeing a huge influx of designs being created by AI. Since it just takes minutes vs. hours to generate an image using AI, and there are so many tutorials online about making fast art and then uploading to POD's to make passive income, there will be so many people doing that. There could be millions more of uploads every year because of that. I agree with having a total cap since it's going to be hard to wade through all of the new uploads to find anything and to compete against.

That's definitely my best guess. It was getting hard enough for these companies just managing with clip art designs. With AI, I can't imagine the server costs for these companies to host the millions of designs being uploaded

@@lifeexpanded It may be a good thing to do to add a line or tag on the product called, "hand-drawn by human artist" so folks who want to support human artists can do that easily.

i uploaded a bunch of stuff to redbubble and teepublic a long time ago and never got any sales, so I forgot about it. then suddenly in the past 2 weeks I made 7 sales on teepublic. so now I'm uploading again with a focus on teepublic.
