Let me preface this by saying I absolutely hate Robert Sarver as a Suns fan. He single-handedly has cost us at least three extremely competitive seasons. However, the report say when he used the n-word he was repeating a story from somebody else. Now this is an extremely poor lack of judgment but I wouldn't go out and say that he is racist. I don't think we can say Quentin Tarantino is a racist because all of his movies have multiple uses of that word. He comes up with the script even though black people are the ones saying it on film. Robert Sarver used extremely poor judgment. But I wouldn't go as far to say he's a racist

I advise you to read the full report and see one of the original allegations on Sarver and his use of the n word in other instances on top of using it to recount stories of what others said. He said in front of a nba exec “n words need a n word” when referring to hiring a black coach to a staffer

He should lose the team, but the players were not vocally against this man - despite his long track record of behavior. He used the n word repeatedly and harassed women employees with impunity. Only if the players took a stand would there be movement to get rid of him. The players didn't care (don't care enough, maybe) and so this ridiculous suspension - and the fine is nothing to him. He's a clown. Stern would have found a way to get him out - we shall see if Silver has the mettle. I'm not optimistic.
